New to anime: What is a good Fantasy Anime?
Hello, I'm 27 years old and have only seen 2 animes, attack on Titan and Made in Abyss.
I'm looking for an anime with the following characteristics:
\- Fantasy World
\- Good story
\- Adventure
\- Some fights (doesn't have to be all action)
\- Maybe some deaths
If you know any like this, please let me know! I saw some that looked cool like Frieren and black clover.
Thanks in advance!

Just, well....a little graphic - if OP can take the ummm, graphicness, it is good
Shame we don't get a season 2
Actually while we're on a little taboo, Jobless Reincarnation, it fits 100%, but the material will sit awkwardly at times
RE:Zero should be watched too - certainly some deaths in that
Sengoku Youko is fantasy-ish. No elves or dwarves or fantasy races like that, but there are monsters, spirits, and gods. Some magic.
Great story though. One of my favorites.
Seirei no Moribito
Yona of the Dawn
Laughing under the clouds
Frieren
Delicious in Dungeon
May I ask for 1 final thing (bit of a wild card you may like)
Children of the Whales
"Dungeon Meshi" is a non-edgy version of "Made in Abyss". It is also much better written and is the paragon of fantasy anime worldbuilding. Starts out as a "goofy story without stakes", only to reveal that the world has always been grim, and the serious main campaign was always lurking in the shadows (you just failed to notice because of the comic relief). Dungeon Meshi is flawless and mandatory.
"Ascendance of a Bookworm" is the only fantasy isekai worth talking about. The first 3 seasons were poorly adapted, but are still great. 4th season got a budget upgrade. Light Novels are supposedly amazing.
Good luck finding good stuff. Good fantasy anime are the exception, not the norm.
Oh, "Goblin Slayer" is bland and tropes. Don't recommend it.
And "Mushoku Tensei" tries to pass itself off as worldbuilding, but then slaughters the characterization of female characters for the purpose of bootstrapping an easy harem for a hero that sexually harasses people. Just a bland harem in the end. I'm still watching it out of denial. Feel free to try it out and decide whether you can get anything out of it.
I 100% agree on Frieren.
1). Goblin Slayer himself (his monotonous and stubborn personality)
2). Goblin Slayer's costume.
3). The music band for the OP. "Mili"
4). The edgy goblins themselves (shame that that they didn't show up that often).
I am also looking forward to skewering the other author's anime adaptation. The one where the girl's name is the word for "garbage" in Spanish. I hate the fact that I CAN UNDERSTAND Spanish. Knowledge is a curse.
Also, I am a total bastard when it comes to how Dwarves are portrayed. I'll never forgive BG3 for omitting the Scottish VA. I love Warhammer (and only because of its Dwarves and Greenskins). And I love stereotypical Dwarf tropes to death (and despise their absence). Dwarfs should always be oozing personality.
I also really enjoy that they took goblins, who are normally some of the weakest monsters, and made them legitimately terrifying without really changing the fact that they are some of the weakest monsters. They add higher forms of goblins, for upped power level, of course, but their overall status is still the same.
Hunter x hunter
Full metal alchemist brotherhood
The 3 above are masterpieces. I highly recommend watching them
These are good too
Sword art online
Naruto
Reincarnated as a slime
I thought Magic Maker was pretty interesting myself. It's an isekai but it centers around the mc creating magic, and the process of it rather than just making him this uber-powered hero right out of the gate.
If you don't mind old school then I may recommend Vampire Hunter D. It was my introduction to anime back in the 90's.
Moribito
Juuni Kokuki
Vision of Escaflowne
Slayers
Magic Knight Rayearth
Claymore
Berserk
Twelve kingdoms
Wolf's Rain
Fantastic children
