Looking for unhealty romance recomendations

As the title says, i'm looking for romance anime recomendations about unhealty/bad/toxic relationships, because i love drama.

I have already seen school days and kuzu no honkai, so anything similar will do! i also accept BL/GL, i do not have any triggers so suggest anything and i will watch under my own risk.

I do not care if it doesnt have a happy ending. Just no hentai please.

Onegai Twins (It is more of a love triangle but it was kinda entertaining so ye idk)

For Manga Oyasumu Pun Pun and Nozoki Ana (Borderline hentai but... read it for the plot trust)

That being said... If you want actual twisted love, Anime (and to an extent Manga) is not the right place to look. To see some of the most heinous shit you should venture into Visual Novels because that is where you see most of the rather niche unhinged stuff.

Because what you are looking for mostly does not exist in Anime, as I mentioned, you will find more of what you want if you read VNs

School Days for example was originally a VN and it has more and way worse endings than the Anime

Agree with these. Just finished White Album 2. Imo it's not like super toxic, but there's definitely some choices made, and it helps that it's actually a decent show (relative to the predecessor lol).

White Album 1 is way way way more toxic with a crazy amount of infidelity. It's also... not the greatest story and is kinda frustrating. Nonetheless, I recommend it for the aesthetic. Also, idk, it's just one of those shows that you'll keep watching to see what bad decisions the MC will make next lol. Somehow, the flaws made it a more interesting watch than its sequel for me, even though I think the sequel is just a better show.

Not very toxic but kinda, from last years summer season "there is no way I can be your lover" was quite nice (early on atleast).

Probably my favourite yuri romance show is "Im in love with the villainess", which is ultimately extremely cute, but there is a lot of drama/angst in it.

Say I Love You is very dramatic, idk how to explain it other than it reminds me of a very stressful cable romance show. Theres this hot model girl trying to steal the dense popular guy from the depressed mc, lots of miscommunication and tension between characters.

Peach Girl- the series and romance is so messy and frustrating in a way I couldn't look away from

Happy Sugar Life- considering the main relationship in the series, it's hard to call it a romance though

I don't usually gravitate towards toxic stuff, so these might be too tame for your taste. Anyway, here are a couple I haven't seen recommended:
- O Maidens in Your Savage Season: a couple of really toxic relationships here, although I wouldn't say they're the focus of the show. With one exception, I'd say that no one is actually a terrible person, though.
- The Executioner and Her Way Of Life: I hesitate to really call this a romance, since the show keeps everything really ambiguous. And again, it doesn't seem like the main characters are really bad people. But the central dynamic feels pretty toxic through the anime run.

The Ancient Magus Bride is a possibility you might consider. Chise and Elias usually get along at the end of the day but the whole thing is wrong because she's 15 and in a terrible power dynamic. Elias is also sometimes abusive. But I love the anime nevertheless. The character writing is really good. The music is also amazing. It's kind of about finding beauty and interest in life after a lot of trauma.

A girl and her Guard Dog was pretty toxic. I only watched half of one episode, the idea a high school girl being forced to pretend her babysitter who is 16 years older than her is her boyfriend is pretty fucked up, but apparently some people thought it was sweet and well written.

I Want to Escape Princess Lessons was also SUPER toxic. Girl who is being raised to be the perfect queen sees her fiance, the prince, loving on another girl so she says fuck it, and decides to run away and live a carefree life. Then the prince proceeds to stalk her the whole rest of the season. It's played romantically, though. Couldn't get through more than three episodes of that.

Is Vampire Knight too basic? It comes off as a fairly generic shoujo romance but later has some pretty messed up stuff in relationships (incest, one of the male love interests being much much older than the girl, etc.). There's also drama because there's a love triangle. Though unfortunately the anime never fully adapted the entire manga.
