LF Anime with AWESOME Character Designs

I love me an anime with good character designs, I'll list some examples for you to base it off.

Call of The Night (specifically Nazuna)
Date A Live (everybody)
Gachiakuta (everybody)
Reincarnated As A Slime (rimuru and his gang)
Demon Slayer (the hashiras & moons)

etc.. you get the idea

I also love romance subplots, but not required.

Drifters
Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun
Panty and Stocking
Rokka no Yuusha

*A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof* (NinKoro) has tons of great character designs. It even has the best evolving ED I've ever seen where the character designs are updated to match the plot.

Artsy7272026-01-21 01:36

bleach and death note's shinigami (and misa+near) have great designs. jjba is obviously a must, but i dont really feel like watching all of dragon ball or cowboy bebop lol

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-21 02:04

If you made it through Bleach, why would you not want to watch Dragon Ball? Cowboy Bebop is like 2/3 the length of Death Note.

Artsy7272026-01-21 04:51

i have not made it through bleach, im 52 episodes in and very slowly progressing. i hate long shows like these, especially when they aren't split into seasons

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-21 05:05

That's a weird way to think. More of a good thing is a good thing. I admit some series suffer from detrimentally bad pacing, but that has nothing to do with episode count.

Artsy7272026-01-21 06:20

its mostly the fact i just cant get sucked into the story as much as i can with a newer show, classics dont hit the same for me. and not like i dont like classics, i really just want to get to tybw bleach.

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-21 06:39

Classics are classic because they're good regardless of the release date. If anything the problem we have now is that we're lacking series that will stand out 10 or 20 years later. I haven't rated a new anime a 9 since 2022, and that was for the adaptation of a manga that has been ongoing since 1987.

Artsy7272026-01-21 16:14

gee, thats pretty crazy, im enjoying all the new series and they stand out pretty fine to me, To Your Eternity, Shiboyugi Death Games, Sentenced To Be A Hero, & Call Of The Night have all been amazing.

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-22 00:31

Pretty fine is only pretty fine and Fumetsu is the only somewhat standout one you named. I'm talking about those special series that bring you to anime and make you stay. Not a dime a dozen seasonal series. That's why long running anime being all but dead is so detrimental to the industry.

Artsy7272026-01-22 02:13

it was an understatement on my part 😭Call Of The Night is also an incredible series, season 2 was amazing. To Your Eternity was definitely better though, absolutely fire. Either way, im enjoying every new anime coming out this year (that is dubbed). Its really to each their own I guess.

Artsy7272026-01-21 04:52

also i didnt know cowboy was that short ill see

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-21 05:04

It's a two cour series with a film. How long did you think it was?

Artsy7272026-01-21 06:19

thoguht it was one of those longies that are like 200+ episodes

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-21 06:39

I wonder how you got that impression.

Artsy7272026-01-21 15:56
