Whats an anime character everybody hates?

Theres definitely a bunch of answers to this question lol, and I know not everybody will agree, but for me its Kuon from blue lock. Like dude 😭I know some people may say griffith but somehow even he has his fans. Drop the characters you think every single person hates.

Rachel

madaract2026-01-21 02:17

you doesn't need to name the anime, and people already know lmao

FetchFrosh2026-01-21 03:50

I felt like maybe this was more of a source reader thing, because by the end of the season I just didn't have enough of an attachment to anybody outside of maybe Anaak and Endorsi to really be worrying about anything that happened elsewhere in the plot.

qwertyqwerty45672026-01-21 04:38

Assuming it's rachel from tower of god, I've only watched season 1 but she was easily the best character in it.

Artsy7272026-01-21 04:43

Brother watch season 2 and you will see why shes the worst

SleepyDragon782026-01-21 05:11

Rachel is queen c word of the century.

Artsy7272026-01-21 04:43

All my homies hate rachel

Queue_Jumping_Quack2026-01-24 20:26

The best character of Tower of God. The only one who I was interested in watching. Yes, a villainess, but a compelling one (not super sympathetic, but always interesting to watch).

Blabime2026-01-21 01:48

Shinji Matou - Fate

Nina Einstein - Code Geass

Shou Tucker - FMA

apkmasterofgames2026-01-21 01:52

Dude shinji literally shouldn't have any haters as long as they watched or played heaven's feel. Dude was getting 🍇 by his own sister ever since he was a kid.

Wilson-theVolleyball2026-01-21 02:32

Uh it's the other way around

mad007din2026-01-21 01:49

Tucker from FMA(B)

N7CombatWombat2026-01-21 01:49

None, every character out there has someone who doesn't hate them.

Artsy7272026-01-21 04:46

no duh but one thats almost universally agreed

N7CombatWombat2026-01-21 04:55

I'd still say there's not going to be any near universally agreed either.

Shimmering-Sky2026-01-21 01:50

Iok Kujan from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans S2 is so reviled by the fanbase that he's normally called "Idiok" instead of his actual name.

Also Kaifun from the OG Macross series. Nobody likes Kaifun. [](#angryvampire)

Roketsu862026-01-21 01:53

Zenitsu pre-Infinity Castle arc

abandoned_idol2026-01-21 01:58

Please don't hate him, I love him!

He's super unpopular D;

I do recognize that he is a pervert, and I KEEP forgetting that fact cuz of his sob backstory. Nonconsent is terrible, yes.

Roketsu862026-01-21 02:06

I can't believe anyone can live that living walking nails-on-a-chalkboard personality

abandoned_idol2026-01-21 02:07

I think it's hilarious that he's such a well-trained coward that being asleep is a power-up for him.

Pankosmanko2026-01-21 02:14

He’s the worst ughhh

Crazy_Little_Bug2026-01-21 02:34

Me and a bunch of other people would disagree with you.

Makoto - school days

SleepyDragon782026-01-21 02:10

Kinda curious how much hate I'll get for this one.

I absolutely despise Subaru Natsuki from Re: Zero. I think I actually hate him more than the hated Rachel. Though I do appreciate how they show that his narcissism and gaslighting pretty much wrecks Emilia's strength of character.

Note: In case the character eventually gets better I have not seen past season 2. I really tried to like this anime but I just couldn't with Subaru.

edits: stupid typos

Artsy7272026-01-21 04:45

yeah he gets MUCH better past season 2, his character develops lol, still hate the guy's hair tho so i dont fw him

SleepyDragon782026-01-21 05:01

Well that's something at least. I can't get past how he treats Emlia, and the absolute insistence on calling her Mili no matter how many times she asks him not to. He single handedly takes what starts off as a strong female character and tears her down to the point where she can't even pass her trials without him. All because he gaslights her to the point where she starts believing she has to have him in her life. And the constant screwing things up for her because he won't respect her enough to let her handle her own shit. GAH.

Sorry. I gotta stop. I'm going into rant mode. lol

Artsy7272026-01-21 05:03

i get what u mean lol

Tarhalindur2026-01-21 06:34

The specifics are spoilers, but suffice it to say Madoka Magica has one character so broadly reviled that there is an entire quite popular Pixiv tag of said character having violence inflicted upon them (and an equivalent pool on at least one 'Booru)... and that's before you get to the creative stuff the *non*-artist part of the fandom sometimes does.

hinata-anime2026-01-21 08:25
