Anime to watch after AOT😭

I want to be part of an anime community, something big like AOT which is still ongoing. After watching AOT i can't seem to let it go. So, will there be any anime making the same history like AOT? Any anime (new) or even manga turning to anime that is upto the mark. Demon slayer and JJK are the only 2 doing this right now + chainsawman too, but i need something real like AOT. 😭😭😭😭 I need something new not old ones.
(Edit: You all i don't want to be part of just anything which is trendy, i want something peak unfolding itself like AOT, characters, emotions, soundtracks. Something that plays with y heart and mind. Apart from JJK or Demon slayer or maybe CSM) 📢📢

Hi OkPost3374, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

Frieren is a solid one to watch. Season 2 is airing right now and its a very popular show.

Jujutsu Kaisen is another good one to pick up for the same reason.

90% of people have seen JoJo and One piece so they are good options if you want to be able to talk about common anime with people.

But really just find stuff you think might be interesting and watch it. Its much better to watch what you enjoy than to just follow the trendy shows for the season.

What i meant is to witness the unfolding of something peak, like AOT, not to be part of trendy, random anime community, i just want to see something that plays with my emotions, and which is currently running. Soundtracks like AOT, emotions like aot, characters like aot. 😞😞

full metal alchemist or code geass 🤷‍♀️

Enough_Campaign_65612026-01-21 05:37

Then the 2 i listed and possibly re:zero would all be good for current shows. One piece is over 1k episodes but its popular and running.

Zeruma_2026-01-21 05:37

Re:zero is going to be adapting what many novel readers say is the best arc next season .

That will give you time to watch all 3 of the seasons that are out & then be ready to watch weekly with the sub.

It is something that plays with your heart .

ActualRound76992026-01-21 05:27

Well for Longevity and popularity, jump on the One Piece bandwagon, hands down.

Zeruma_2026-01-21 05:28

Frieren is the answer .

Or JJK.

Or Re:zero is coming back next season

What is aot?

Enough_Campaign_65612026-01-21 05:34

attack on titan

arctic-apis2026-01-21 05:40

Thank you I should have been able to figure that out but my brain was just making a dial tone… attack on titan is on my list but I’ve never seen a single episode

Enough_Campaign_65612026-01-21 05:41

I enjoyed the first few seasons but the last 1-2 was a bit of a slog.

I think you are the only one who understood my emotions for AOT , your list is very close to what i want . 🙂

Spor3frog2026-01-21 05:37

Bummer you missed odd taxi that was wild af, just pay attention too all the anime original shows but no there isn't any aot level show rn that I can think of that wouldn't be spoiled by Manga readers rn. Get caught up on one piece maybe 🤔
