What Are Some Anime Openings That Make You Feel Emotional And Bring Out Certain Emotions Within You?

For me two Anime openings come to mind:

Oshichau Zo!! (Omamori Himari opening 1) Whenever I hear this song I always get the sense that spring time is just right around the corner. I get the feeling that I am back in elementary school, playing with my friends, and the world seems nice and innocent. I don't know what it is about the song but it just brings out the child in me.

Kimi ga Yume wo Tsuretekita (Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo opening 1) Whenever I listen to this song I always get emotional and teary eyed. This song reminds me of my middle school days, making new friends, learning new life lessons, making mistakes and learning from them.

The opening to the Water Magician. The animation in the show isn't bad, but it's nothing like the opening. The opening is literally supposed to represent perfect, elite-level animation. And the song is catchy as hell too. The full song is actually amazing and it has a really nice line that I remember in it.

Idk about emotionally stimulating but the best hitting ones for me out of the countless I’ve seen…probably Hikaru Nara - Goose house (Your Lie in April) and Fatima - Kanako Itou (Steins;Gate 0). These are two OP songs I always find myself listening to from time to time

[GitS: Stand Alone Complex](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNkmz_sF-tE) is my #1 favorite OP of all time. One of the anchors of my sci-fi mood playlist. It's very difficult for me to describe the feeling that the music evokes in me... It's like... nostalgia for something that never was? Far off, fantastic places. But at the same time, kind of sad places.

[Otaku Elf](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXEpLEK75V8) surprisingly has my second favorite OP. Never expected a random show like that to have such a fantastic piece. (Though, the official [animated music video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlTMXFbPfKw) for the full song is what I watch the most. It's a work of art.) The music evokes a similar feeling that GitS does, but this time there's a much more pronounced feeling of hope in the song.

Finally, [Azumanga Daioh](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsGAsJBW6zM) has been a staple of my fun playlist for like twenty years. Instant mood lifter.

Honestly both of the AOT openings (the first season and the very last) are probably my favorites ever. (Guren no Yumiya, and the Rumbling)

The first one is just epic, uplifting, and I get pumped up every time I hear it.

The last one is cool because I love how they really incorporated the MC into it. There are some moments where the way it’s animated almost makes it feel like a music video that Eren is the star of while the songs lyrics tells you what’s going on in his head. It’s just a very raw and unexpected way of doing an intro imo.

Lastly, the Chainsaw Man intro is one I find hard to skip. Not only is the song a vibe, but
something about the timing of the clips and the way they’re matched to the music is very appealing in a way I can’t even quite describe. Oddly enough I think maybe it reminds of some older Saturday morning cartoons I used to watch in the early 2000’s. Those had some pretty banger intros tbh.

soul eater papermoon is just so beautiful to me, and yuyu hakusho smile bomb because it's nastalgia for me. Visions of Escaflowne theme is just super beautiful and ethereal.

Mine would be Naruto Shippuden Opening 5, Hotarunohikari. I find myself being conflicted at Naruto's goodness but then as Sasuke's cold and detached portrayal shows in contrast after Naruto in the opening. Like being idealistic vs being realistic. Like say wanting to make a schoolwork that's above and beyond quality that you can do, but realistically you can't do that because you lack resources to finish it in the allotted time given.
