Running out of anime I can get interested in
\[NO SPOILERS PLEASE\]
I’ve been a fan of most basic anime my entire life. I grew up watching Pokémon, dragon ball, Naruto, inuyasha, one piece, bleach, AOT, MP100, demon slayer, 7DS, and sword art online.
Ive been trying to find new anime to watch so I tried My Hero Academia, Solo Leveling, fairy tail, and a few others and i personally just found them kinda slow, a little too goofy sometimes, and not interesting enough for me to finish the show. All in all, just not really to my liking. I know they’re great for their target audience, but that’s just not me haha.
I’m getting to the point that I don’t even know what to look for to find a good anime without getting it spoiled for me. If anyone has any recommendations on what I should start based on the anime I do and don’t like I’d really appreciate it!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

You know…. Another show that actually surprised me that I almost never see recommended was Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun
Maybe your could try a romantic comedy like Kaguya-sama or My Dress Up Darling? Or a mystery show like Oddtaxi or Apothecary Diaries?
if you are looking for things more in line with darker stories or more involved plots, I have not seen these mentioned:
Erased
Black Lagoon
Darker Than Black
86
PsychoPass
Terror in Resonance
Oshi no Ko
C: The Money of Souls and Possibility
Any of the Blood Series
So some suggestions:
The following are still shounen but non battle shounen
**slice of life / coming of age:**
\- Hyouka
\- Gin no Saji
\- Barakamon
\- Uchuu Kyoudai
\- Sakamichi no Appolon
**Sports**
\- Ping Pong the Animation
\- Baby Steps
**Psychological/Suspense**
\- Psycho pass
\- NHK ni Youkoso
\- Zankyou no Terror
\- Odd Taxi
\- Shinsekai Yori
**Sci-fi**
\- Space Dandy
\- Dennou Coil
\- Pluto
**Comedy**
\-Great Teacher Onizuka
\-Sakamoto desu ga
I feel this gives you a pretty good range to find other stuff that you might like. worst case scenario you also just find a bunch of things you do not like, but then it's also easy to filter out series that are not for you :)
