Kanda make his move, which allows him to grab Road, aleln to grab Tosuka. Wisley can't fight for shit and Sheryl/Cheryl's is pissed his Road has been taken.

But earl decies the time to start allen's leaving party has come, so alma is brought up.

Allen, as always you need everything explaining to you, so Tosuka is happy to do that this time.

Lol Earl's face is priceless here, first time he's ever been this stunned.

Kanda proving like Allen, he can be really dense too.

**Manga Comparison Corner:**

* So this consists of a couple pages from 187 (p34, 47-50), as well as 188 and 189, and the first 2 pages of 190.
* The anime shows the scene at NA Branch BEFORE Johnny throws up in chronological order; manga has aftermath then flashback to before.
* In the manga, the Earl's human form doesn't have stigmata and darker skin; he's in his normal human look. He doesn't transform until after the base's defenses start firing.
* There's some leeway over whether the Earl says he's "Adam, the first apostle" or "Adam's first apostle".
* The anime cuts out a scene of Johnny's inner dialogue about "I'm scared, Tup" and wishing for Allen to come save him, then realizing he's friends with Allen so he's not going to cry and wish for help.
* We see a panel of Allen, Timothy, Timcanpy, Gigi, Rob, Johnny, Cache and a chess board. Johnny believes that Allen will come, and he has to hold out and survive on his own.
* In the manga Road says Kanda is pretty and Wisely responds "He's pretty but a guy".
* In v19 manga, at the end there are several panels of omake. One asks Timothy if he can still possess people; he does his "Boob Attack" on Lenalee and then Komui flies into a murderous rage.
The next is Krory and Miranda crying over Marie's missing fingers and Komui offering to make "hyper fingers" for him.
* The last is one where Bookman took Kanda's hair string and is going to auction it online for an exorbitant price to buy hair tonics for himself.
* In the Special Thanks page we see Lavi complaining about having no screentime.
* The JPN volume has 4 pages of reader fanart; my favorites are Allen & co. in maid outfits, nekomimi Lenalee, Lavi in a basketball uniform, and one of possessed Kanda going all "Pwehhh".
* The manga clarifies that the tubes Cheryl manipulates are from Alma's water tank.
* After ch189, v20 has a profile on a new character not introduced yet in the anime, Bak's dad.

**D.Kar-man**

Just when you think the worst creature alive was murdered, all hell breaks loose. Turns out Kanda's past includes Epstein messing around with kids in secret dungeons... I guess it makes sense that they didn't want to go into detail during his Noah fight. Bak's family being involved with this ain't a good look either. We've swiped his Lenalee crush under the "comedy" rag, but if he's in those files...

On the other end of things, I love the Earl's move here. His human form keeps a bit of the silliness, and combines it with a more serious air, you can tell he's here for business now that the fourteenth is involved.
