Starting Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Sub or Dub?
I've heard the dub is one of the best in anime ever, however I am a sub watcher most of the time to a point where I've gotten used to it completely, is the dub really that good compared to the sub in which I should watch it in dub?

If you're unsure you can watch e.g. episode 1 with subs and 2 with dub and compare but my advice would be to dub.
Edit: I definitely misremembered the success of the show in the west and the reason for the show being produced how it was as one in the same. The Manga was not finished yet, as someone pointed out, and the studio wanted to push it through. With amazing reception all around. I hadn't looked up anything about it in over 20 years, BUT I STILL RECOMMEND THE 2003 VERSION FIRST!
No, it's not an English version, just like brotherhood it's a Japanese show with an English dub. It wasn't made to appeal to US audiences, it has differences because the manga was still being written and the show ran out of material to adapt, so they had to go anime original.
That's not true at all Fullmetal Alchemist was just the first adaptation it wasn't meant for a U.S audience it was always a Japanese show that got an English dub
