Watching The First Anime Somebody Sends

Im kinda scared, since this could literally be anything, but there are just a COUPLE rules, which are **no hxntai, no anime over 60 episodes**, and ecchi/fanservice is fine with me. Also, if the first one that sends breaks one of the rules, I'll go to the next one.

Hi Artsy727, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

You might also find our [Recommendation Wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/wiki/recommendations) or [daily thread](/r/anime/search?q=flair%3Adaily&restrict_sr=on&sort=new&t=week) helpful.

Seen this a lot but I don't really want to watch it because i'm not a giant fan of the artstyle. still worth it?

Pewp-dawg2026-01-22 06:45

I did not remember the first anime but Attack on Titan season 1 is the earliest and they gave me a shock as an 8th grade kid (obviously a gore content in initial episode). But I enjoyed the combat, action and quality of this anime.

Artsy7272026-01-22 08:27

I've watched the whole aot franchise lol

No-Pair-6402026-01-22 07:26

Umamusume pretty derby

Artsy7272026-01-22 08:28

no dub sadly :(

No-Pair-6402026-01-22 08:46

Still watch it, the sub is great and the animation is amazing

Artsy7272026-01-22 08:52

Yeah I believe it, but I watch anime while doing other things, I can't stay fully locked in looking at the show or im gunna miss some lines.

No-Pair-6402026-01-22 09:12

Makes sense yeah, well if you ever wanna check it out start with season 1 its pretty much self contained, isnt the best season but its still really good

Artsy7272026-01-22 09:18

I want to watch it, but with how big this franchise is getting, I believe it will get dubbed soon.
