I loved Parasyte and Devilman Crybaby. What next ?

I loved those animes and I am not here to discuss or debate such shows. I understand they are controversial here, but please, don't discuss your own opinions here.

I loved the emotional devastation I felt, the deep-dive into the human psyche, the gory, unapologetic violence, the incredible OSTs. Those shows made be feel emotions like never before, it is like a high I now keep on chasing and I don't know what to watch next. Any suggestions ?

Check out Tokyo Ghoul or Ajin… same dark, twisted vibes with insane gore and messed up feels. Will wreck you emotionally in the best way 😵‍💫

I don't think they're controversial titles. Most people consider them very high-quality titles. Here are a few other options:

Shinsekai Yori

Pluto

Ajin

Casshern Sins (a bit more sedate and about robots but still brutal)

Psycho-Pass (S1 specifically)

Made in Abyss

Ajin is an interesting one in terms of writing because apparently the author changed a bit into it and that caused an uptick in writing quality which you can see in the anime. The manga is done now, but the anime was made a while ago already. It's fully CGi in a similar style to Sidonia no Kishi (which is another good one by Polygon Pictures) which isn't to everyone's tastes.

An underrated show that has some of the same themes is Zetman.

Alternatively if you want something a bit more proven that leans less on the violence and more (okay, heavily) on the psyche elements, Ergo Proxy is something of a cult classic
