Simple anime suggestions to watch please!
I recently went through a tragic personal loss and I am trying to cope up with it by keeping myself distracted. I watched Sousou no Frieren, The apothecary diaries, Spy x Family and just some light but good anime. I'd like some suggestions, not too long, just short anime. Any easy, light, feel good, or something that made you cry. (more than welcome because I am a person who finds it hard to express or cry and watching feel good anime helps me cry and vent)
My usual go to is one of the Naruto movie: The road to ninja (because the family background story is relatable) and certain episodes from InuYasha. But now, I've exhausted my trump cards and I need new distractions. Hence, I seek your help just to keep myself distracted and I just want some heart felt anime to feel better.

A Place Further Than the Universe ,
laid back camp,
haikyuu (fav feel good anime but has seasons to it)
To cry to:
Violet evergarden (can even make a grown man cry),
Wolf children,
Anohana
So I'm definitely going to take up your suggestions and probably watch A place further than the universe first.
Do it Yourself is a nice slice of life.
K-on also quite fun and endearing.
I'm probably hyping it too much but also Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms, is pretty awesome, especially if you need a really good cry at the end.
A Silent Voice. Check the synopsis if you are easily triggered by representations of depression and suicidal thoughts. I felt very seen in this movie, though.
Ride Your Wave is both sweet and sad. Love the animation style.
Any Ghibili film oc. Some, less sad than others, and some more relatable, depending on your moods.
Also: random side note, if you haven't seen it yet; Mob Psycho 100 was a surprise for me. If you're feeling up to a little more action, this was a fun watch.
And yes, I've watched Mob Psycho 100. You're right. It was surprising combination of comedy and action.
I am currently watching The Disastrous Life of Saiki K and I've got just some episodes left. Then I'll start with a new one. If you haven't watched it, give it a try. It's a super time passing anime. You can choose any random episode to watch. It's fine comedy too!
Episode 9 was where I was really hooked.
