Never understood why srd bothers to pretend no one who follows the links ever comments in them, when they always do. Plus its not like the admins are trying to stop them from doing it or they would have done so more than a decade ago.

Same applies to the "dont link drama you are involved in" rule. Honestly, that sub has some of the dumbest rules.

Nah, in this case, OP got their post removed and then immediately want to SRD and made an all time bad post (admitting they were directly involved in the title, just linking to the removed post, and there being little actual drama). And then replied to literally everyone (who were mostly telling them that this was extremely stupid as it's very clearly against the SRD rules).

OP was just on a mission to weaponize SRD (or pull out some conspiracy shit later on using that removed SRD post as evidence or something equally dumb).

I was in Austria skiing and one day it got to -18C. I wore three layers but when going downhill the wind made it feel like I was wearing nothing at all, my hands hurt so much it was hard to keep my poles gripped. The visibility was awful which made it hard to stay as a group too. It was a pretty scary but exhilarating experience nevertheless.

I did my 40 minute walk to work around -30C a few times. I dressed appropriately and as long as I never stopped moving it wasn't that bad honestly. None of those morning really had wind to speak of which helped.

Edit: You can always keep adding layers. Just keep adding layers. The coldest I've ever felt was -8C when the wind was ***hollowing*** at around 65KPH. I wasn't dressed appropriately. Everything hurt.

I don't know about the coldest, but we get -30 every year.

In fact it's gonna be -30 this Saturday.

But I don't mind the cold and my winter coat is 10/10 best coat I ever had, even at -30 I feel warm outside. (It's heavy as a chain mail, but it's worth it).

Yeah. I don't think this one is all that good but I'll share it anyways, no fun sharing the ones I think are good without the bad, right? Tried to do too many things for the first time, realized too late that I had screwed up compositionally, and couldn't recover it.

Baggy clothes... I don't know how to do them. I need to do a proper study on them cuz heck if I know where they're supposed to bunch up and where the crease lines are supposed to go. I've already done a few other sketches and copies of IRL clothes, but I still don't feel like I understand them at all.

Then it still would've been salvageable had I left it more as just the arms with a very faded background, but I oversaturated the background and then found that it made the arms in the foreground look washed out and dull. Tried to fix it, but... couldn't figure out how to get the colors to pop properly from this position.

On the plus side, I think the two skin colors turned out fairly readable and different from my usual Caucasian skintones, and using complementary colors for the shadows turned out pretty decently. Also using a ruler for a straight line and using some new painting tape gave me a clear border without any terrible angles.

OK, how the heck were people hyping up Kingdom Come Deliverence 2? Maybe it's just early-game silliness, but the dialogue seems stilted and unnatural and written by a guy who thinks adding the word "fuck" into every other sentence makes it more mature, the combat also seems really stilted in a way that makes the combat of Witcher 1 and 2 seem good in comparison, and I feel like I'm going to lose my soul if I stare into those dead, dead eyes they have. Is it a hot take that I think the graphics of, say, Halo CE look better than this?

I'll keep rolling with it, but honestly, by this point, 2 and a bit hours I think, I was completely hooked by the characters and dialogue from E33, while I'm definitely underwhelmed by this... Henry.

I have to keep my rants for special occasions though, like Generation Bleu's incompetence during Eureka Seven AO. This won't be a rant, there's some things I liked about P5R, there's some things I disliked, and it's not well thought out at all so it'd just be a pain to read.

I do wonder how many of my complaints are just JRPG stuff, like endgame battles tossing out tactics and strategy almost entirely in favor of "the boss has no weakness and can't be affected by any status, just attack with the strongest attacks at your disposal, I hope you're high enough level!"

As I was playing through Armored Core 6 for the first time, it's hard to not notice the complete lack of human faces in the game, and at the time I've chalked it up as an intentional stylistic choice the creators made.

And the more I look back at the game, the more I appreciate the facelessness of it all, and the way the characters are composed of only their essential aspects: their voice, their character, their symbol and their mecha.

As I look at other games about military robots and seeing the pilot characters rendered, regardless of whether it's in an anime style or in a more realistic 3d model, the characters actually having faces seems kinda distracting.

Yakuza has a complicated history with that in general. The remakes of the first two games are insanely divisive among fans of the OGs (Some of the complaints are valid, others are honestly a matter of personal taste ~~even though neither side is willing to admit that~~) and the one for Ishin is pretty much universally reviled, although hilariously it also led to people reevaluating the OG and being like "Wow that was not that good to begin with" so no one won by the end. This is looking to be another mess, although honestly OG Yakuza 3 is so bad a part of me can't help but be like "Yeah a shitty remake is honestly what it kinda deserves."

[To give you an idea of how bad]>!the game plays worse than the PS2 games with enemies having a bazillion HP and combos being basically impossible with how frequently they block. The plot is a mystery that is solved by a character who only appears in one scene delivering an *hour long exposition dump* rather than the characters, you know, solving the mystery. The plot constantly gets put on complete hold to do random SOL stuff that constantly breaks the pacing of the main story instead of... I dunno, *just putting it all at the beginning so once the plot gets going it can keep a consistent tone*. It has a really boring government conspiracy plot that later games practically ignore. It is one of the most melodramatic games in the series in a way that actually kinda clashes with the general themes of it (See characters acting like complete morons in ways that lead to their deaths being *glorified* by the narrative even though the series as a whole is fundamentally about the death of chivalry). There's some good characters and individual moments that work, but on the whole it is just a bad game, no real way to slice it. Just because the Remake is looking up to be crap doesn't suddenly mean the OG is a masterpiece.!<

I spent too long trying to decide if Eresh and Ishtar counted, and in the end I cut them because I had too many twins anyway. So I'm glad to see them make it.

Illya and Hina are also fantastic to see. And Sasha is good, but she couldn't save that show for me.

I was surprised how easy this theme was also. I had to cut so many twins because I ended up with too many.

The Ouran twins are good. They are one of the pairs I ended up cutting.

I forgot Haruaki has a twin, and I'm not sure I ever would have remembered the Aldini brothers are twins.

draft is so much better than sealed, but it is more skill intensive. I love just the experience of drafting. and you can get some of the best cards you want from like 20 packs instead of just like 6

the Blue Convoke Card draw spell is so good.

chronicle of Victory is an amazing card. Definitely worth having. I was thinking of getting one

this time its some guy who goes by the name “lacari.” he opened a Notepad app on stream, which automatically opened to the last text file session he had been looking at previously. astute viewers noticed the text files were labeled “teen” and “jailbait,” and were a collection of links… that people are claiming led to some very illegal material.

he streamed for the next few hours, perhaps to play things off like nothign happened, which led to him getting roasted by chat (people spamming stuff like “address me 🐘” and “RELEASE THE LACARI FILES”) and some mods even up and quit. he eventually addressed it, claiming a virus had downloaded what he describes as “illegal material” on his computer, i guess inadvertently admitting the material in question is illegal.

in any case, he’s now banned on twitch and kick, but if the material in question is as serious as it seems, one would expect further legal action to take place.
