Huh? Works fine for me
CuriousBroccolli2026-01-23 17:58
Still nothing for me

A Yamabuki doesn't dance to the usual walking-in-on-girls-changing-clothes *tune*.
This clip should be part of the training manual for romcom MCs.
Proud-Airline-942026-01-23 13:57
So there was a train... And stuff happened.
zairaner2026-01-23 13:59
~~How could you dare spoiling the main twist in the title~~
fer_sure2026-01-23 14:07
To anime devotees, this belongs in r/unexpected. The MC walks in and gets slapped is an anime staple. Those girls were changing in their freaking club room, where the MC had every reason to be, and they didn't even bother to lock the door.
PowerSamurai2026-01-23 14:13
I'd assume they got careless with that kind of thing since it used to be a girls only school.
fer_sure2026-01-23 14:17
True, but you'd think that would make them *more* careful.
PowerSamurai2026-01-23 14:18
People act based on habits. If they have done this several times before and never had locking the door as part of the routine it would be easy to forget.
And it's not like they got angry with him for doing nothing.
Sweaty-Practice-44192026-01-23 15:01
That also kind of implies they were ok being walked in on female students. Like you can modest around the same sex too
PowerSamurai2026-01-23 16:56
Sure, but I think it makes sense to assume otherwise here. Not to mention they likely did not need to think much about it before in another sense too. As in other people would not really have business in their club so people walking in on them was unlikely before and they only really realized otherwise when making conversation, like what happens in the episode.
KrimsonKilo2026-01-23 14:13
I've always thought this is stupid. Why does a guy get in trouble for opening an unlocked door? Why were the girls changing in an unlocked room? Why does he get in trouble for stuff not his fault? It's not even funny. One of the worst tropes in anime.
thejimmyrocks2026-01-23 14:28
Because beating guys is ok in anime. I absolutely hate that trope too

On the reverse, women jokes are just 90% accidental sexual misconduct, like Tamaki in Fire Force where she slips or something and her butt and boobs are grabbed. Japan has really high highs and extremely low lows when it comes to their entertainment.
Hellstorm9012026-01-23 14:34
Danmachi did a subversion of expectation like this too
An injured MC got caught with another injured girl who wasn't fully dressed in the hospital and two of the female characters who stumbled upon them pulled the "you pervert" thing and hit him
Cue the nurse beating both the girls up for being so stupid as to attack an injured person in a hospital without bothering to try and find out what was happening
sidewinderaw112026-01-23 15:12
My favorite part of that was i'm pretty sure that Hestia and Lily weren't trying to punch him and just redirect his gaze but because they both did it at the same time....
Inside-Owl-7932026-01-23 14:35
After being an anime fan for some 15-20 years of my life, since I was a teen, and growing up and talking to teenage girls and women young and old, I came to the conclusion that the Japanese obsession with teenage girls undressing and other ecchi shit is honestly cringey at best and straight up pedophilic at worst. No amount of "they are not real, just drawings" or "you kill people in video games, but you are not a murderer in real life, now are you?" deflection is changed this.
There are legitimate reasons to explore the topic of sexual awakening in teens fkm an artistic perspective. Sex and sexuality is absolutely part of growing up. Drawing for girl in lingerieesque bras is not that. It is just softcore pedophilia porn.
Practical_Smell_42442026-01-23 14:58
Ah it reminds me of that isekai where the commander woman wanted to slab the guy then the guy beated the living shit out of her it was soooooo funny and unexpected 😂
Dog_in_human_costume2026-01-23 15:07
The silver hair one is super cute
