I like the dub. It allows me to focus on the amazing fight scenes without having to look at the bottom of the screen to read what's being said.

Soyjaks mad and downvote you lmao
blorbot2026-01-23 14:13
I had to google soyjak. I guess I'm too sigma for this sub? Sorry, I don't know current slang.
Rex__Lapis2026-01-23 14:25
It's been around forever. You probably just weren't familiar with the term itself.

I actually find it funny when people get mad when someone prefers dubs for a good reason.
Though i have read subs my whole life from the point i learned how to read so i'm a very reader and usually listening the dialogue and a quick glance is enough for me so i don't miss anything.

Compensatory upvote (even though I typically find dubs unendurable myself).

I’d say however you’d prefer it, nothing stops you from doing both, like I’ll watch it in subbed if I can give an anime my full attention but if I’m doing something like washing the dishes, I’ll play the dubbed version while I’m doing that

If the question is whether the dub is good, then yes. The English dub is pretty high quality.
AwwZomSam2026-01-23 14:16
You should properly watch whichever you prefer most of the times i guess, I would say subs would be better but I'm biased and every time i try watching in dub, i just switch to sub in a few minutes..
OK_Cartoonist49562026-01-23 14:22
dub is better
Flat-Entry902026-01-23 14:27
Do you speak English?
Then watch the English dub. I think the VA is great, and I'm really able to experience the animation without having the subtitles distract me.

I've never heard a good dub so I watch everything in sub. Watch whichever you're more used to
Guilty-Tell2026-01-23 14:53
The answer is always subs. The dubs are mostly voice but lack the acting.

This is a fantastic dub and I think the localization of the dub is much better than the subs
