Is JJK season 2 good?

So I really enjoyed season 1! I’m currently on season 2 episode 9 and I don’t know what it is but it just seems a bit meh which is so weird, maybe it’s feeling a bit slow for me compared to how it was in season 1, should I drop it or is it worth sticking with. Pacing usually wouldn’t be an issue for me since my favourite anime is One Piece, I just can’t put my finger on why I’m not really enjoying JJK season 2 so far, there’s been some great bits but idk

Its really good, the part with young gojo is kinda polarizing for some fans but its really important to future plot points, then it comes back to the presents and thats where the best part of the season comes in my opinion id keep watching.

Which should only ever be bad either because A) it feels like the main story stagnates while this happens, or B) because they don't like Gojo, or only care about the main cast in a show.

As a standalone, it's amazing.

I did like Hidden Inventory but I watched it back in May and continued this month, maybe that could be a reason

Yeah of course no one is 'right' or 'wrong' for not liking something, I just truly think anyone who doesn't like the arc would not get much from the show. I found it much more polished and compelling than Shibuya afterwards

It’s a lot of fights. Almost entirely fights. Some of them are super hype, but I found that without sufficient build up and context my eyes would just start to glaze over and I wouldn’t get invested. I love fight scenes but the sheer quantity started to overdose me. Overall, I still recommend watching.

Season 3 has been excellent so far as well.

Yeah I found that the fighting got a bit much for me. Still loved the season though, just got tiring near the end. I really like the first part of the season with the flashback

After the Gojo backstory arc we get into Shibuya which I think is the best arc in all of JJK. If you like non stop fights, action, and tense moments stick with it

It's all a matter of taste; I personally dropped it on the second episode, but a lot of people like it.

I'm sorry if you think episode 9 is meh then this show is not for you. In fact action anime in general may not be for you.

If we are comparing to One Piece the pacing is like 10x speed so you may be struggling to keep up with all the events and rapid character development. Even compared to normal anime pacing, JJK is like 2-3x speed. JJK requires more mental focus when watching tbh and that's not for everyone. Like you can't just sit and relax while watching it, and a lot of shows are like that. One Piece is def not like that. Season 1 of JJK was very slow compared to 2 and 3, prob closer to normal pacing which is why you enjoyed it.

The first half of season 2 is incredible and moves at a quick pace, and the second half moves at full speed as we know it now, so you're only bound to dislike it even more.

Anyways why ask internet people to decide for you? You have already decided for yourself that it's meh. If you don't find great interest in something then just stop doing it? You don't need others to validate that decision for you.

DEFINITELY keep watching it, there are tons of absolutely peak fight scenes and also story twists, so keep on for sure!
