Inspirational self improvement anime recommendations
Basically I'm looking for an anime that is about the MC improving their life in a simple and realistic way that is useful for their daily life. The closest I've been able to find on my own is Kenichi, which is a great anime, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not looking for a fighting anime necessarily, in fact that's slightly a demerit in terms of what I'm searching for. I just want an MC that is heavily lacking in one aspect of their life and seeing their journey to self improve. I'm basically trying to improve myself and I'm looking for an anime that can mirror that and provide inspiration that is believable. I get that a lot of anime, especially shonen, are fundamentally about self improvement but ideal it would be a more grounded sort of self improvement where rather than blowing up a mountain the MC can get fit or learns how to socialize etc. Sorry for the rambling and thanks for your recs!

It's also very short, looks like it has over a hundred chapters, but each chapter is only like, a page or two long.
Side note, I remembered an anime that checks out too, "[My Roommate is a Cat](https://myanimelist.net/anime/38145/Doukyonin_wa_Hiza_Tokidoki_Atama_no_Ue)." Is about a depressed and extremely socially anxious author winding up adopting a cat, and through needing to take care of the cat, he has to learn to get outside more, meet people, and slowly work his way out of his shell.

Season 2 is almost here, can't wait to be saved by sensei again.
Its much more inspireing than what you would think. Mc gets put through the ringer and has to work pretty hard to survive for awhile.
