Same. I feel like everything is so... Shallow? Like nobody outside of the heroes we follow seem to tangibly exist in the world and everybody seems to have the same 1 note opinion on heroes but we are never shown *why* that is, just told. And everybody is always obviously wrong about our heroes too and the only way they ever change their mind is because of our heroes and just it goes on and on. It feels like a world that *should* be sprawling with diverse perspectives but it's actually got the worse case of protagonist centred morality I've seen in a while.
Think of it like this: imagine a world where the worst criminals are turned into labourers. Every person in the world seems to hate the mere existence of labourers even though without them they wouldn't have anybody to build their homes and give them a place to live in (since nobody else seems to be capable to do anything) but they still hate them with all they've got despite that. But then as soon as our protagonist labourer comes around and builds their home for them, suddenly people realise the fault of their ways?
See what I mean by protagonist centred morality and world building that doesn't make any sense?
And the action choreography is just boring as fuck, the seals are generic magic boosts and it all falls short and feels un-inspired especially in comparison to shows like JJK S3 and fate /fake.

The dialogue writing is awful. It's all tell don't show. Characters are saying the same things over and over. I hate how the show starts exposition with the MC basically saying "You idiot, don't you understand that..." And explains the mechanics of the world. Like that's not how anyone talks when it comes to things that should be common knowledge within the story. And this happens when they explain anything in the show.

The MC is just boring and needlessly stubborn about things I don't couldn't care less about. His only attacks are throwing blade shaped boomerang looking grenades all over. The blonde girl is my least favorite and I rolled my eyes so fucking hard when she showed up in episode 1 like "here we fucking go, anime just can't help itself with this kinda shit". Not surprised in the least to now see her character design from the source looks like this.
I started to worry I'm just watching a polished turd that might not be polished quite enough to distract me from the whole turd aspects.
