That's a very close projected final round, I'd love to see it be that close and have Monica get a chance at winning. Unfortunately, I fear in practice it won't be that close.

Nagi losing is just terrible and wrong. Natsuko and Isabelle losing is bad either, but the right girl advanced in those cases.

Wow Natsuko got slaughtered... And with that best girl of '25 is already gone. At least it was vs 2nd best girl of the year in Monica, so I'll be rooting for her all the way now, but man... y'all really should watch Zenshuu. Although no, most of you did or she wouldn't have won winter. You all just forgot about it.... sadge.

On another note: I'm glad Alicia managed to get the upset to sneak into the top 8 as our only lower seed. Unfortunately Yachiyo, Ruri and Nagi weren't able to beat the odds.

Looking at the vote totals there seems to be a clear top 3 in Reze Monica and Shisui and I don't see anyone beating them.

I remembered Natsuko, she was one of my favourites. Unfortunately she was up against the only girl I'd vote over her.

What's truly criminal is that the Zenshuu OP wasn't nominated for the r/anime awards. The best OP is there at least, with the Shoushimin S2 OP, but Zenshuu's OP was way better than many of the other nominees.

Yeah I was also surprised by several of the nominations for some of the anime award categories, but it seems like that is always happening every year. But that's why we have the best OP/ED of 2025 contest, so that maybe those who got snubbed there get their chance to shine!

Don't think voting really increased at all in Round 2. It might in fact have went down. Not like that was going to help Ajisai win against Shisui though, but it did mean Ajisai got 127 votes to Shisui's 267 votes at least. Thanks for that.

Yeah, this upset felt like it could happen easily since *WITCH WATCH*'s show popularity wasn't that high even when it was airing. But I like and voted Nico in the matchup.

Bottom left side of the bracket is one I no longer care for. Wanted both Ruri and Yachiyo to win and I get this Quarterfinals matchup.

Miko...you got 151 votes at least.

Isabelle was really close to getting the upset on Inori and I can be satisfied with that as a fan of both. But this next matchup for the winner...

Hard fought by Renako, but she made it to Top 8! I can be satisfied with that.

A rare contest in which I like almost all of the candidates.

Alicia vs Shisui is tough. None of the others are particularly, though it hurts to not vote for Renako (though I haven't voted for her since the first round).

Sad to see Yachiyo, Nagi, and Ruri depart. Not sure where Nagi and Ruri would fit into my rankings, but I'd have to contemplate Yachiyo and Monica and Inori.
