What’s going on with our guy at the end there? He’s all glitchy. Let’s hope that slime is actually weak and not super strong…
I thought it was Zabuton from Farming Life in Another World.
time for him to actually use his plague powers and debuff it to death
I thought this episode was the most entertaining yet, there was some nice humor with the spider monster encounter.
wonder if he will be strong as an undead, his human form was weaker than the baby dragon
The mc was never told how to gain human transformation
But the elf mentioned it was safe to assume doz was eaten an we know the last monster near doz was the earth dragon
Overall I’m enjoying the balance of humor and serious in this one. Which includes the decision regret.
I'm guessing to gain the human transformation skill he has kill a human
I'm hoping that it's a bit more lighthearted than that. He has that human communication skill at level 1, maybe he has to level that first before he can try emulating a human? Having to "learn" more about how they talk and act in order to act like one of them seems like a reasonable assumption.
that Doz guy probably got turned into some kind of undead, isn't he?
also that "puddle of water" is definitely a slime but what kind of crazy stats does that slime has for it to be able to cause MC's eyes to go all glitchy just from looking at it's status screen?
"[This would go so hard if I was 12 years old](https://i.imgur.com/awzeWRO.png)." But honestly, I enjoy it now as an adult too.
From what was shown in the OP, I had some concerns regarding the use of CGI for the current evolution, particularly that it would limit the expressiveness of the MC, [but I continue being pleasantly surprised](https://i.imgur.com/Ve5jc2d.png). I really wish the Roll ability had been handled a bit differently than turning him into a bland orb though.
[Poor guy is having a rough day](https://i.imgur.com/411lhAn.gif), picked the "evil evolution" for the skill of turning into a human, then didn't get that skill and instead became a walking biohazard.
[Time to set up a base in a cozy cave](https://i.imgur.com/PicKP3O.png). He may be a monster living out in the wilderness, but he can still try to live a civilized life.
I don't know why he wasn't leaving a trail of death powder while trying to get away from that spider, especially since he was trying to fly.
Something Looney Tunes-like was probably the middle term to a viable episode.
both are D rank ish, so not like he was weaker than the spider, but the spider was much stronger than his baby dragon form. For his first enemy it was just a bad matchup.
It was not an easy fight with one hit kill. But it was easier than fighting that worm back when he was an egg lol.
If he hadn’t run out of fear he would realize they were at the same level as stats go, and he should have the advantage with magic/skills with a rare evolution.
He fought the worm because that was do or die. He had to kill something to evolve.
I'm guessing he's more like glass cannon? Quite strong, but slight wrong moves and the spider would kill him. At least after some level up he should be more durable.
He wasted all that time running from the spider too after getting it to half health without really taking any damage, why run at that point. Maybe there're cool downs on those skills that the anime isn't mentioning, or something.
But one bit of possibly important info of interest late in the episode. Divine Voice seems to be a comparatively rare skill -- available only to destined to heros and super-monsters.
"Oh no, it's too strong! I need to run!!"

*Rimuru Tempest has entered the chat*
I already make the Digimon comparisons with his design and evolution routes, now he's even using digimon moves.
Such a waste. I really liked his cute digimon design.

[Holy fuck this guy is inept.](https://imgur.com/G6Ju1Gb) Your flames stunned the spider, maybe try that again..
[Sure is great that we get to know what this says!](https://i.imgur.com/bumz0rj.png) Thank you translator!
Yeah I came here hoping someone would post what it says here but it doesn't seem to be the case sadly
Hopefully it's different than the last status screen we saw in Roll Over And Die, though...

You don't want to fuck with Rimuru. Better just run.
Kumoko from *So I'm a Spider, So What?* had to really *work* for that shit. Made it seem epic, not easy.
It's nice to see authors trying to avoid just having an omnipotent god voice give the MC's the answer to their questions but I do wish they would step back a little bit. To many video game elements really ruins the shows potential. I just about clicked away and gave up on this episode when we both got a life bar AND an HP counter! Is it really that hard to just *show* damage on something/someone rather than cheat with systems.
I guess that question is really a joke at my own expense because it probably is actually quite time/money saving to not have to bother animating damage even if it would be a million times cooler. Like what does it look like when the giant spider has taken a quarter of it's life in damage?? A lost limb? bite marks? bleeding? I can't even picture it really.
He could have just been a dumb low IQ person or an uneducated person or a flat earther to begin with.
His choices seem to be making him an extrovert kind person having unutilized brain but can cook.
Im also glad we got an Mc whos a bit of a wimp and a makes mistakes. Feels like a breath of fresh air to the usual isekai tropes with an op mc with no flaws
I might watch the entire anime at this rate, who knows.
Like, I get it... If he was smart, things would progress even faster and maybe less entertaining but omg, it's a pain to watch him
found 3 source in other language and they didn't include any translation... I'm gonna wait till saturday I guess ahaha
