Has she accepted she was....I don't think so

As for what the show was about, that's a debate, the journey, things repeating, the curse of a long life.....

Is her pupil as bad.....lets find out

The story isn't about romance so your initial assumption is already wrong, she doesn't really love him as much as she realized that she never made an effort to connect with her team beyond the bare minimum during their travel and his departure makes her realize how much she missed on.

Like the other comment said watching/reading the show may help better than asking about it.

I watched it, guess I drew a different conclusion as to why she travels to The Land Where Souls Rest :)
