The fight was really interesting to watch, the zooms, angles and choreography were really engaging.
Looks like we'll be seeing Knives soon, I wasn't expecting to see him in that state.
Forgot you changed your name to knaives a while ago haha
Vash's fight against Leonof was pretty cool. [I especially love the legs made out of puppets](https://i.imgur.com/2MLB3kf.jpeg) when he was running away from Vash.
[Vash's reaction to Wolfwood was pretty funny.](https://i.imgur.com/w4vUOCD.jpeg) And I'm so happy [to see him reunited with Meryl too.](https://i.imgur.com/zLwOakY.jpeg) The gang is back together again with the addition of Milly! I am a bit disappointed that Meryl didn't go for the hug. I think she wanted to, but held herself back by showing him her business card instead.
You know...a dude whose power is controlling non-living automatons is like the perfect match up for Vash, since he can just headshot them without taking a life. Surprised the puppetmaster was taken alive, given the track record of villains surviving after their defeat (at least in the original anime)
I appreciate the "checking for strings" on Wolfwood, after getting tricked by holograms three times already.
Anyway, was expecting a few more episodes before the gang got back together, but I am not going to complain.
Glad they did this sooner rather than later. Half the fun of the original was the interactions between the 4. I'm fine with Vash finding a survivor to find his way, but didn't want to see 4 episodes of it. Felt like the timing was perfect.
For a minute there I thought Milly and Meryl killed him by slamming that catwalk lmao.
Amazing fight scene this week too. Glad the gang is now back together!
^^chefs ^^kiss
I don't like the OST this episode though, cause they use that thumping sound (not sure how to describe it) that's prominent in western action movie trailer. They used it a lot during fake Nai appearance.
It's interesting to consider July as a city Vash didn't just visit once and then it got destroyed, but instead it's a place he went to plenty of times over the years and knew many people who lived there.
I know it's Vash's nature to be the sweet and understanding guy to everyone but nothing about the puppet dude's backstory did anything to make him less of a piece of trash. Good work Meryl and Milly for landing on him like that, not just for finishing the fight but also for cutting short the inevitable Vash vs Wolfwood argument about killing evil people.
Nice to get the reunion at the end, the classic team together again at last.

The voice act was also strong this episode, you could really feel Vash's anguish and torment at the end there. Meryl's VA was also excellent and did a great job capturing all those complicated feelings in the few lines she had.
The first season definitely had some grim moments, but I've been surprised by how dark this second season has been, and it's nice to see some real weight and consequences to the events of the first season, both self- and externally imposed. Excited to see where the rest of the season goes from here now that the gang is back together, Nai has been reintroduced, and the stakes have been set.
AoT is literally just Great Replacement for Japanese people. Trigun is...not that.
I'm gonna miss Vash looking like no enemies Thorfinn but his homecoming was sweet regardless.
and hey Knives, you look great! lose some weight?

Welcome to the freak’s puppet show.
You may have killer robots but you can’t fight gravity.
This guy’s another one of Knive’s host of goons then. How many has he even got?
The gang’s back together. Uh, well, most of them anyway.
Oh, wow, Nai is really messed up. I mean, deservedly so but the kid with him seems real optimistic that he can be rebuilt.
And since Knives is more attuned to using his powers his self healing is basically better than Vash.
Meanwhile Vash self nerfs a lot of his ability due to his personality and temperament.
Just curious what's different considering the OG also had 20ish episodes
And yes, the OG also didn't have the best pacing either. It didn't even have the whole material of the manga to work with, considering that the manga finished after the OG anime ended. Characters like Zazie wasn't elaborated in details back in the OG anime either, which i found to be a pity. The old anime clearly had ideas and moments, but i still think that there are places where it could have been better too.
At this point, i think that all three medias have their own unique good and bad sides to them, so i will probably just take what i can get.
I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to this shows thanks to season 1 being so incredible but I'm not really feeling the same kind of vibe for this season.

[Wow, uh.](https://files.catbox.moe/ssuh3n.jpg) Hey, Knives! You're looking… different! [](#mindmelt)
Knives have no problem killing kids if their ideology is not in line with his.
Apart from that, the fight with the puppeteer looked visually very impressive and the plot was quite hard to follow, which is my usual reaction to that anime. I assume Vash will be traveling with Meryl and Millie and Nicholas to wherever Knives has holed up for the rest of the anime, having spectacular fights all the while.

- This comes with a minimum **8 Day suspension**.
And this is the first time that they gung ho gunz was able to locate and attack them
It wasn't plundered it since nobody knows it's location before the start of Stargaze.
Love to see the gang back together again. We also see the real Knives, and well... he's not quite himself yet.
Good episode in any case. I am a bit sad this series is not more popular on this sub, but I've been enjoying the new season well enough.
But once again this is stunning. I hope they at least make more of Meryl's love for Vash more explicit this time. Milly got more action last time around and it was devastating. I do expect a kiss by the end of the season at the least.
But it's still funny seeing how different the influences are from the original to now. The original was closer to the spaghetti Western era. Those animators probably saw a ton. This one is so clearly inspired by science fiction from 2000 to now.
I think Studio Orange is really pointing the way forward for this type of animation. Once they get hair mechanics down and make it more dynamic than it is now they're probably gonna be unstoppable.
