Sounds like she had a sus ancestor...
Wolf-Isaki referred to Human-Isaki as Isaki-san and Human-Isaki referred to Wolf-Isaki as Isaki-chan
Wish they'd done something with the subs to make it more obvious.
I liked the diary idea to help the two personalities get on the same wavelength.
So if the wolf girl is a more normal werewolf with two forms away from campus, that makes me wonder if the other beast students also just normal animals when away too.
But glad the two Isakis worked it out. I do wonder if they can find a way to split the two personalities or at least let the human Isaki come out more often. Once a month for a few days feels so short.
The whole conflict was also very well handled imho. Trying to understand each other can be hard, especially when you can't talk directly, but have to deduce the other's thoughts and feelings based on simple observation. Writing a coop diary is a great idea.
In psychology there is the so called "halo effect". We tend to draw conclusions about others based on the limited information about them. This cam lead to false conclusions or even to severe misunderstandings like here.
I mean, it's also weird to think about how this personality has basically only lived for 150-200 days or something. You'd think if they don't share thoughts to some extent and only visual and auditory elements of their memories the other personality would basically be an infant. Or is the other personality like aware the entire time too and just not in control of the body?
Ah well there we go, a misunderstanding between her two personalities because of how their thoughts are completely separated.
Honestly the concept of two people sharing a body but never being able to directly interact is kinda peak.
There is an anime that has been announced with a concept kinda similar but also different because they don't share the same body. "Even a Replica Can Fall in Love." It's definitely an interesting concept, especially when they explore what each character actually feels.
This episode made me think even deeper about that: Isaki doesn't want to become human because she dreams of being one, but because she was effectivelly bullied for changing forms every month.
So like, I understand this is a school for demi humans to become humans, but given the fact that the MC hates other humans - which you could put as hatred for his own species -, I wonder if the anime will go deep into actually making the girls accept themselves. If not, it seems very weird to me if the anime conveys the message like being human is better than demi human. (I don't think this is the case since this view is clearly opposed in this episode)
I hope that now that communication between the two will be more open they become closer, it has to be so rough to share a body.
Gotta love MC's not-Playstation tie clip.
Damn the Yabbit really is so ears.
Right. What's he got to say to her?
Isaki's wish?
Get rid of her?
Ah.
Huh. Ok then.
So, she's going to go away then?
Confined herself to her room?
So, she's still not back yet?
Oh, so he's finally found her.
Damn she _really_ hates herself.
Is she writing directly to her other self?
I'm sure _that's_ not going to be confusing...
Also is she just going to have 2 personalities?
Isn't summer without cicadas.
Best episode yet.
