Do women like Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter?
Maybe a silly question but my girlfriend is an anime newbie but her 12y/o daughter loves stuff like Demon Slayer and MHA. We watched the Last Airbender and Korra together and they both loved those. My girlfriend really liked '97 Berserk. (Daughter not watching that one yet lol)
Secondary question, is it sexist that I keep thinking I should show them FruBa or Inuyasha next? 😁

Thinking a young girl should *only* watch shoujo series and absolutely nothing else would be, but just wanting to show her something that happens to be a shoujo adaptation because you think she might like it is totally fine (Inuyasha is a shounen just like HxH, though).
Trying to accommodate and catering to someone is generally well viewed.
I’m a girl and it’s among my favourites. Here are the main reasons I personally like it:
- How each arc is so different from the rest and how naturally each leads into the next.
- That all four main characters don’t have the same goal and in actual line with that, aren’t forced to remain with each other all the time.
- Killua and Gon’s friendship: And it isn’t just thrown in there. There’s the subtle buildup so that all that drama ensues in a certain arc.
