86. I REALLY enjoyed 86. It only has 2 seasons for the anime. The anime ends at a pretty decent point if you want to let it end there and use your imagination for the rest. I listened to the audio books of the light novels to get the rest of the story though. Really good story .
If you like mechs and stuff, check out Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphens. It's gonna hit similar to the first season of Vinland Saga, at least I think that it does.
You may also enjoy Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. On the surface it can often feel like it's targeting a younger audience but it gets really dark, and the underlying story is very very good.
From there you might branch out to Beserk and you might enjoy Solo Leveling.
Solo Leveling has two seasons out so far. It starts seriously hitting it's stride in the second season. First season felt like build-up to me, especially after watching the second season. It's another one that I went on to listen to the audio-books for to get the rest of the story. I've actually listened through the audio-books 3 times now, despite the narrator's weird sound effects. The pacing of solo leveling is really on point. It doesn't drag out story-lines instead flowing from one to the next as it builds up. It is one where the main character becomes ridiculously over-powered though.
