Don't listen to this clown. Nothing wrong with wanting to find an anime that explores the idea of self-harm. Don't feel like you need to explain yourself.

Bungo Stray Dogs has a character who tries to kill himself repeatedly
He even sings "You can't have a double suicide with just one person!" in one scene

Ah yes I am aware of Dazai loll love him
beckychao2026-01-24 19:28
It's not really self-harm because she's a freak who gets off on it, but Darkness in Konosuba is constantly getting herself beaten up and manhandled on purpose
Serious_Add2026-01-24 19:30
Okay ty !
Agreeable-Reality5582026-01-24 19:16

Not self harm but suicidal stuff. Obviously trigger warning, takopi is very graphic, second one is more artsy but very relatable is you suffer from MDD
Takopi’s original sin
This monster wants to eat me

Welcome to the NHK and Aku no Hana are the only ones I can think of. Although they aren't really about self harm.
