No one should watch Tokyo Ghoul. Read the manga instead, it's the only way to get the full story. The anime is a shit show, that skipped the middle of the story and rushed everything else. It's one the worst adaptions I ever seen and ignoring the manga and watching the anime as a stand alone, it doesn't make any sense.

Dazzling-Cloud-76802026-01-24 19:17

Oh ok i see but i hate reading though i would still try tho to read since its a pain to look af black and white in my screen that burns my eyes every 10 minutes

DragonDogeErus2026-01-24 19:19

Counterpoint "Unravel"

Dazzling-Cloud-76802026-01-24 19:19

What

DragonDogeErus2026-01-24 19:22

It's a song used in the show and in one of it's OPs. It's probably the best thing about the adaption.

Dazzling-Cloud-76802026-01-24 19:23

Oh isee usually skip intros so idrm lol

Jusenkyo_52026-01-24 19:13

Jojo yes, Tokyo Ghoul probably not.

Dazzling-Cloud-76802026-01-24 19:15

Why

Jusenkyo_52026-01-24 19:20

The adaptation isn't all that good and nobody really talks about it anymore. The story is nice but you'd be a lot better off reading the manga.

Dazzling-Cloud-76802026-01-24 19:21

Aight thx

Left_Preparation_8902026-01-24 19:16

Yes, but tokyo ghoul would also be a great read ngl. Jojo is peak tho so would watch it (dont stop after season nr1, it is concidered the weakest)

Dazzling-Cloud-76802026-01-24 19:18

Okeh ima watch it since i also saw something like steel ball run which seems very interesting

Turbulent-Region33232026-01-24 19:53

Note steel ball run is part 7 of jojo

MaximalDisguised2026-01-24 19:18

Yeah JoJo is great. You start with Part 1.

Every Part features a new cast of characters, a new setting and a new story goal.

Ofc

ishootmyfoot2026-01-24 19:35

PLEASE OP READ THIS:

DO NOT WATCH TOKYO GHOUL ANIME!
-as you can see the anime is genuinely trash and if you watch the anime you would believe the manga sucks and it was a cash grab but the manga is A MASTERPIECE it has amazing characters development story very deep sienen class writing and amazing art idk what to tell you but i kid you not you would love it

-as for jojos its a YES its bizarre satire and funny really fun to watch and great fights entertaining to watch otherwise nothing else but still you would enjoy and the manga part seven IS AMAZING ID recommend it.

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-24 19:46

JoJo is always worth watching. I'd never watch it on Netflix though given that it's censored like the original TV airing and has censored subtitles due to copyright.

That being said, they may be newer, but JoJo is pure old school and has been going on since 1987.

Dazzling-Cloud-76802026-01-25 09:59

Ok tho im going to be honest i need some like new gen anime or something that has new gen ish animations i wanna know when does it start for jojo cus seing old animation kinda brings weird memories back to me

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-25 10:21

JoJo is an old school series animated in the modern day starting in 2012 up to the present day. There's also a much better animated 1993 OVA with a prequel in 2001.

There's nothing special about newer anime.

il8872026-01-24 19:48

Yes. Tokyo Ghoul S1 is great, other seasons not so. JoJo starts a bit so-so but gets much better after ep 9

Dazzling-Cloud-76802026-01-25 09:59

okey
