Post-Z & GT release? So Daima, the Z Movies and Super material?
Daima was a classic fun adventure. It had flaws and the finale felt *a little* rushed but ultimately I thought it was a very nice inclusion into the Dragon Ball canon despite possible canon fluidity issues.
The Z Movies (BOTG and RF) were interesting and added some of the now more iconic representations of characters and some new ones. I enjoyed BOTG a lot and RF was fine.
Super was all over the place, unfortunately. When it hit its lows, it *REALLY* went fucking low in quality to the point of embarrassment for such an iconic IP and series. But when it hit its peaks? Some of the most memorable stuff you'll remember from Dragon Ball for a long while after. I think its worth watching still.
The Super Movies were exceptional. Both Broly & Super Hero were awesome as fuck to me.

I love GT since it felt like a proper adventure. And that the power scaling was pulled back down for a significant chunk of the show to around OG Dragon Ball/early DBZ levels.

GT had its bright spots and introduced, I think in a lot of peoples' opinions, the best natural progression for transformations in SSJ4 for the Saiyans. Both from a lore standpoint and visual appearance.
It also had some of the most unique villains we've had in a long time like the Shadow Dragons, despite a handful being goofy as fuck, using actual interesting power sets beyond just "I shoot Ki blasts but in a different color". Controlling the elements, nature, and other aspects of the environment were awesome.
However, the climaxes to each arc's narrative felt so fucking lame and disappointing after doing a fairly ok job at building up to them.
Goku using Dragon Fist on Super 17 and Goku using Kamehameha on Baby flying away were so beyond lame and disappointing.

Its timeline placement is just very weird and clunky so placing it in the watch order as before Galactic Patrol just makes it easier for someone jumping to understand a little easier. Even though yes, it does technically take place after Moro but around the same time Granolah begins.
We don't know how far Galactic Patrol is going to. So unless they stick a "THIS IS WHEN SUPER HERO TOOK PLACE, BUT YOU CAN WITNESS THAT ANOTHER TIME" somewhere in there to inform people.

Let it be known that SDBH was just promotional material for the game which is quite popular in Japan and literally no where else. I (and many other’s) wouldn’t really consider it part of Dragon Ball’s story or even consider it as Dragon Ball media. It’s not even available really anywhere except used posted sources like YouTube.
It’s a fun watch if you’re a nostalgic fan as the game gets some incredibly non-canon but very old fan-coded shenanigans and seeing that stuff animated is always fun.

I suspect this will air in 2027 as they complete the entire series run before they air it much like Dragon Ball Daima. That way they can ensure the quality of the series without worrying about rushing it out week to week.
They'll most likely then break again for 2028/2029 and come back with the next Granolah arc in 2030 after using those two years to fully complete that series.
This gives Toyotaro, Toriyama's successor, hopefully enough time to come back and continue where the Dragon Ball Super manga left off and build 3-4 years worth of new material for them to then animate after the Granolah arc.

Dragon Ball GT is not canon but *CAN* still be worth a goofy fun, don't take it seriously watch with some genuinely awesome moments sprinkled in randomly.
It is mandatory to watch DBS Broly, best animation in the whole franchise. Same goes for the final arc of super.
You can watch Daima without watching any of super.
Daima was a classic fun adventure. It had flaws and the finale felt *a little* rushed but ultimately I thought it was a very nice inclusion into the Dragon Ball canon despite possible canon fluidity issues.
The Z Movies (BOTG and RF) were interesting and added some of the now more iconic representations of characters and some new ones. I enjoyed BOTG a lot and RF was fine.
Super was all over the place, unfortunately. When it hit its lows, it *REALLY* went fucking low in quality to the point of embarrassment for such an iconic IP and series. But when it hit its peaks? Some of the most memorable stuff you'll remember from Dragon Ball for a long while after. I think its worth watching still.
The Super Movies were exceptional. Both Broly & Super Hero were awesome as fuck to me.
I love GT since it felt like a proper adventure. And that the power scaling was pulled back down for a significant chunk of the show to around OG Dragon Ball/early DBZ levels.
It also had some of the most unique villains we've had in a long time like the Shadow Dragons, despite a handful being goofy as fuck, using actual interesting power sets beyond just "I shoot Ki blasts but in a different color". Controlling the elements, nature, and other aspects of the environment were awesome.
However, the climaxes to each arc's narrative felt so fucking lame and disappointing after doing a fairly ok job at building up to them.
Goku using Dragon Fist on Super 17 and Goku using Kamehameha on Baby flying away were so beyond lame and disappointing.
Its timeline placement is just very weird and clunky so placing it in the watch order as before Galactic Patrol just makes it easier for someone jumping to understand a little easier. Even though yes, it does technically take place after Moro but around the same time Granolah begins.
We don't know how far Galactic Patrol is going to. So unless they stick a "THIS IS WHEN SUPER HERO TOOK PLACE, BUT YOU CAN WITNESS THAT ANOTHER TIME" somewhere in there to inform people.

It’s a fun watch if you’re a nostalgic fan as the game gets some incredibly non-canon but very old fan-coded shenanigans and seeing that stuff animated is always fun.
Based on the poster, art style looks better than super? I just wish they bring back the artstyle from DB Super Broly or even the manga art style. This arc would be peak given it has good art style and animation.
Low production values are what keep me locked put pf DB.
I've only seen Daima (and even Daima's budget was gutted midway).
They'll most likely then break again for 2028/2029 and come back with the next Granolah arc in 2030 after using those two years to fully complete that series.
This gives Toyotaro, Toriyama's successor, hopefully enough time to come back and continue where the Dragon Ball Super manga left off and build 3-4 years worth of new material for them to then animate after the Granolah arc.
that being said, the movies have been banger after banger. battle of gods, ressurection f, broly, and super hero were all amazing.
beerus + whis are cool characters and became instant classics in the grand scheme of the dragon ball universe.
even though they’re still milking tf out of the franchise. it’s not ass. just not as consistent and fresh as dbz which is still great. it could’ve turned out like boruto but it’s actually good.
Could have had a Boruto level sequel series. Now that would have been a disaster.

Goku's JP VA is iconic, but she's getting in ages. Will there be a new cast, continuing from Daima?
Still I wish we are in an alternative universe where this arc was adapted right after the Broly movie only leaving the granola arc for now, Toriyama-san would still be around as his work kept him in brilliant shape.
And now we can finally say Daima was nothing but a dream.
It's gonna be a bit sad to watch Super without Toriyama
For the non-manga readers, you should look forward to it.
I just hope the animation will be half decent.
Cant really say that I care all that much for the super timeline though, transformations like the rainbow just doesnt do anything for me.
