Not even chat gpt can help me with this. I almost thought I dreamed, but then my husband said he remembered this too - so I must have watched it with him?

I just have this memory of an anime that I think I watch in Netflix where there were a bunch of students - kids maybe? - who were told to compete with each other in these crazy fights in the woods. I think they had powers? I think there was a scene where they were up on a mountain side and someone dies?

Anyway, I’m pretty sure when they graduated they were like cheered out of the school. But then some character discovered that they were being ground up/killed. Maybe eaten? I remember a scene where the character was in a big pot of dead bodies and guts.

I also remember this crazy scene where a bunch of wild animals (or maybe monsters?) were let loose - like that’s how they were able to escape the place.

Please help, I’ve been trying to figure this out for years!!!
