Non hypersexualized animes for begginners
So far I really like death note because the female characters werent hypersexualized. Im liking chainsaw man but it is kinda weird at times. I got recommended classroom of the elite and while the plot might be good it was so perverted and disgusting. Are there any good non-action nonsexualized animes for begginners? I dont like action animes like mha or naruto etc

**Some suggestions:**
- Moriarty the Patriot - basically if DN wrote Sherlock
- Frieren Beyond Journey's End
- The Apothecary Diaries
- Shirobako
- Yuru Camp
- Monster/Pluto - same creator, if you want a more dense crime drama
- Journal With Witch - Drama airing this season, with notable female characters/MCs
- A Silent Voice
- Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu
Love is war - another not weird romance, a romcom and it’s about who confesses first
Spy X family - should have been the first one I said this is AMAZING, there is action but I wouldn’t say that’s the main part of the show, I told my friend who also isn’t into action to watch it and they loved it, definitely give it a try!!
Welcome to the NHK
Kids on the slope (sakamichi no apollon)
Paranoia agent
Perfect Blue
Cowboy bebop (it has some action)
Evangelion (it has some action)
Ping pong the animation (sports, but it's ping pong)
Anyway, you can watch:
\- Bocchi the Rock
\- Spy X Family
\- Yuru Camp
\- Mahoutsukai no Yome
\- Witch Watch
\- Iruma-kun
\- Frieren
One thing that I think I can recommend is Nana. It's about two roommates in Tokyo with the same name (Nana) but starkly different personalities/lives. Ouran High School Host Club is another one I see thrown around alot, but I think there are some weirder elements that would make me hesitate to recommend to a newcomer. It was many y people's first anime, but I don't know your personal tolerance for weird, so I can't recommend it strongly.
It's still airing this season, so all the episodes aren't out yet, but I'm having a blast with Tamon's B-Side, it's very funny.ALL YOU NEED IS KILL is currently in theaters with a wonderful female lead if that floats your boat. Most Ghibli movies are also classics; Howl's moving castle and Princess Mononoke are the two that come to mind. My Neighbor Totoro also exists, but its mainly a kids movie, if you wouldn't mind that.
I'm watching His and Her Circumstances/KareKano, and while I'm not close to finishing it yet, I'm really enjoying it so far as a great high school romance with a super realistic female lead.
Here are some other shows:
\- Magic Knight Rayearth
\- Cardcaptor Sakura
\- Wolf Children
\- Princess Tutu
Here are some shows that don't have a lot of female personalization, but still have a predominantly male cast:
\- The Summer Hikaru Died (horror, no sexualization\_
\- Golden Kamuy (no female sexualization, but definitely a lot of gay men who are horny for each other)
\- Lord of Mysteries (supernatural, police porcedural, female characters weak overall but no sexualization)
\- Jujutsu Kaisen/JJK (action, supernatural. there's like oneeeeeee character who gets boob shots IIRC but its like a scene or two in season 2 and shes very competant beyond that)
\- mobile suit gundam war in the pocket (don't need to know anything about gundam to watch this. its six episodes long and very good storytelling.)
\- look back (anime movie by the same guy as chainsaw man, but nothing sexual with its two female main charactres at all. very much a drama)
\- Ping Pong the Animation
\- Sonny Boy
\- Weathering with You
\- Trigun Stampede
Revolutionary Girl Utena has fade to black sex scenes/naked women, but it is about the expolitation of women under the patriarchy. Highly, highly recommend it, but its a very avant garde anime so its not everyones cup a tea.
Let me know if you have any questions. I am a veteran anime fan and also a woman, so I know my way around things.
**Lycoris Recoil**. Is about a group of girls that are undercover agents, working for the goverment as enforcers outside the law. It has action combined with some slice of life and conspirations and that kind of stuff.
**Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha**. A group of girls are selected by a secret organization to receive power and fighiting Eldritch Abominations. Of course, things get even more complicated.
The music is glorious and the characters and story are amazing.
**Keep your hands off Eizouken!** A girl who loves to create stories and backgrounds. Her friends who loves money. One day they meet a girl who loves to make characters design. Together they form the animation club and do their best to make anime. (At least two of them, the other one will make sure that is profitable!)
**I'm in love with the Villainess**. Rae is an office lady who is constantly overworked, dies from exhaustion. Instead of the after-life she finds herself into her favorite Otome-game. And now is free to do what the game never allowed her to do, to pursue her favorite character, the villainess, Claire Francois.
Rae is really funny and persistent. Is really fun to see their interactions and there's some other stuff happening too.
**Girls und Panzer**. Miho is transfered to a new school after an incident during a match in her previous school. Now she wants to just be a normal student, and having none to do with the sport anymore. But the school is going to be closed, and the only way to save it is to win the national tournament!
Sounds typical, right? Maybe. But the sport in question is Sensha-dou, tankery. Mock battles with WW2 tanks. And the school is a whole city in a giant carrier ship. Sounds crazy? It is, but also is fantastic.
**The Magic Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady.** Anis is a princess who forfeited her right to the throne in favor to her little brother. Now she is know as the eccentric princess, working in her inventions that combine magic and the memories of a past life. And she can't use magic, but is a rank gold adventurer.
Her brother is engaged to the most talented Magic user of the kingdom, Lady Euphilia, but in a ballroom he call off the engagement and accuses Euphilia of bullying other girl. Humilliated and forsaken, Euphilia breaks down, and then Anis crash into the party as her latest invention, a magic broom, has a liitle oopsie.
Seeing what is happening, Anis calls dibs and elope with Euphilia. She offers her a job as her assistant.
And so, their story begins. Together they will discover the truth behind Ani's brother actions, they will face new dangers to the kingdom, they will fight conspirations and even harder, they will try to sort the new feelings that have for each other.
