Kai does not re shot the frames nor does it enhance the animation, all Kai did was remove the filler, so this is far from Kai.

From my understanding this is similar to what they recently did with Fishman Island in One Piece, right? Bring it in line with the current art style, tidy up rough edges---more of a "remaster" than a remake, though I'm not complaining. This means the brunt of their efforts can go into focusing on the Moro Arc.
Assuming they do this with all the super arcs I'm very interested in the revamped Tournament of Power. There was tons of great animation clouded by gross effects and filters (namely the auras surrounding characters as well as smoke and debris looking blurry).

I honestly feel this is the reason, it is so they still have a release this year while giving them time to animated and also build up viewers and hype until they release the Moro Arc, I for one am happy for more Dragon ball.

Conflicted on it. On one hand, I like the idea of them remastering an arc of early DBS. Early DBS wasn't exactly stellar in it's production. There's also potential to add new story elements that could probably streamline the timeline.
On the other hand, I'm not exactly liking what I'm seeing. Even ignoring the fact that this is the third time they're telling this story, I really can't get behind Yamamuro's character design. Broly, Super Hero and Daima gave us such good character designs, so the fact that this has to use Yamamuro's design is so lame. Yeah, maybe it's a remaster instead of a full on remake but if I wanted good animation on this arc, I would've watched BoG.
There's just no real point in doing this arc again unless there's new story elements that we've never seen before, or it's a full on remake using new character designs.

There's more scenes of Beerus on his planet, more lines with Whis, the fight with Vegeta. There's no CG in the fight between Goku and Beerus, and it unfolds quite differently too. These are just the ones I remember.
There's also new and remade scenes, with new music and all. It's just to keep the fans busy until the new anime comes out, which is supposed to be around late 2027.
