I want to watch more animes like grimgar of fantasy and ash and takopi's original sin but im struggling in finding something similar. Im aware these two arent that similar but just happened to watch one of them recently so im throwing it in here while asking for recs.

Grimgar: Mushoku for ex has similar rich world building but i find the mc insufferable. Goblin slayer ive already seen. Some other recs like made in abyss ive or faraway paladin ive seen. Rezero doesnt come close to it and frieren is just a different vibe imo. I like this "surviving together bc were all in a shit situation & were all weak trying to better ourselves" concept. Also rly like that they are genuinely reliant and dependent on teamwork rather than on an op mc to solve all problems. I prefer the mc because they dont let things get to their head and i like that the anime is overall less fanservicy apart from a few scenes in the beginning with ranta. Im aware the ln has quite a lot of vols to read and will get around to it but id like anime recs for now.

For takopi: i recently watched it and i love that it explores human suffering & human nature. Ive seen stuff like higurashi, neverland, made in abyss, mirai nikki, another, erased, madoka magica, my happy sugar life etc and would love new ones to watch similar in taste to these.
