Niche, but long anime recommendations? (ON CRUNCHY)

I’ve been looking through crunchy for a while tryna find good niche anime’s. Sadly though most are hella problematic, boring, or just too short.😔

Please yall I need niche animes (preferably action) that are actually good and have more than 10 episodes.

PLEASE NOTHING PROBLEMATIC😕

Hi Remarkable-Bug-1391, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

You might also find our [Recommendation Wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/wiki/recommendations) or [daily thread](/r/anime/search?q=flair%3Adaily&restrict_sr=on&sort=new&t=week) helpful.

I’m not new to anime😭 I love that you’re trying to help, but that’s not what I’m asking for😔

Ill-Sir70992026-01-25 10:27

Sure, no worries! You can try to check animes on Crunchyroll. Read the captions for each movies. I am still looking for some animes haha.

World Trigger.

Remarkable-Bug-13912026-01-25 10:24

You’re like the first person to actually give me a pretty niche anime recommendation 😔 why are people giving me mainstream recs

BornArcher82026-01-25 10:34

Btw while World Trigger S1 is pretty good the S2 and S3 have much better pacing and animation. And so it was recently announced World Trigger is getting a reboot to fix the S1 quality.

OccasionalTransit2026-01-25 10:34

Zero idea. World Trigger is slower paced but I enjoyed it, ymmv. Dennou Coil (26 ep), Seirei no Moribito (24 eps) and Canaan (13 eps) are also ones I liked but they aren't on Crunchyroll so I'll leave it to you to find them. 🏴‍☠️

Check out Phantom: Requiem of the phantom. It kind of drops off towards the end though.

Another one would be No guns life.

Remarkable-Bug-13912026-01-25 10:32

Thank you for the peak looking recs🥹

Idolish7, it's not really action, but really good and has great character development. Some episodes do have action. 70 episodes at the moment
