I built a Wordle-inspired anime game to play with my friends, and it’s become my favorite hobby project
Hi everyone,
I’ve always loved Wordle and wanted to see if I could create a version specifically for anime fans. What started as a simple hobby project to play and compete with my friends has quickly turned into something I’m really passionate about.
After some initial testing with a small group of players, I’ve been refining the experience to make it as smooth as possible. While many people have a great knack for finding the answers, I wanted to make sure it felt fair even when the technical stats get a bit tricky.
Here is what’s currently in the game:
* **Comprehensive Database:** Search through thousands of titles, now including Japanese (Romaji) names for easier access.
* **Daily Challenges:** A curated schedule that features popular series to get you started before moving into deeper cuts.
* **Dynamic Hint System:** If you're stuck, you can choose to reveal the main character's name or a hint about the title.
* **Detailed Stats:** Compare technical details like studio, episode count, score, and debut year to narrow down the target.
I’m really enjoying the process of building this and seeing how people interact with it. I’d love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think or what else would make it fun to play.

Good luck with today’s anime—let me know how many tries it took you!

[Today's answer]>!Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (ufotable) -> Demon Slayer!<
For example, my first guess was a 12 ep anime. My next guess was Bungo Stray Dogs, which I know has more than 12 eps in total, but since the first season also has only 12 eps, that was what was shown and therefore didn’t help me at all
