It might take Zeonly a bit of time to recover from all that emotional damage Kunon just blasted him with lol.
I'll probably drop this anime after the next episode. Kinda sad because i actually do like the plot
If you take away his kinda sleazy comedic personality, he’ll just be another Kirito lite, like all those other isekai
It feels like i'm watching a character written by someone, and not a real person. If you know what i mean
If i don't turn my brain off for trashsekai, then I can't watch any of them. There's so much more problems in the writing then just cringe, but if i can over look writing problems, I can overlook cringe as well.
Kunon still calls him Teacher Honey lol.
One hit KO!
Interestingly, Zeonly is earth magician. I thought Kunon would have a water magician teacher.
Kunon could make his own water-cat cafe where you get to sleep on a water-bed whilst cuddling a water-cat.
He would make a small fortune.
It’s also a bit futile to me (just like I’ve been thinking since last time) that they are trying to push the narrative that his blindness is still very relevant when alongside last time’s showcase, it’s really not. To me anyway.
That aside, I’m curious what Mirika will do moving forward. Royalty is weird in this series to me, as they seem very irrelevant / commoner-esque the farther down the line they get, so hopefully a bit more on that alongside her efforts to distinguish herself.
Basically now he is a near-sighted person in terms of visibility using his magic sense.
Two issues -
1. If there is anti magic field, he will be blind.
2. He can't see farther than a distance.
A-Rubu makes a water bubble.
With Kunon's skills, he can do the same things as A-Rubu with an A-Ori, but an A-Rubu is more efficient at making bubbles.
For example, a mage can make an A-Ori, hollow it, split it in 32 pieces to make some bubbles, give them some color and make them spin and takes 9 steps. Or, the mage can just make an A-Rubu, give the bubbles some color and make them spin, that's just 3 steps. If a mage is only capable of doing 9 steps, doing the same thing with an A-Rubu will allow them to add 6 steps more (if we assume that every step takes the same difficulty which I doubt it).
Speaking of Zeonly, he has no patience with Kunon's overly flowery and awkward similes and glowers at him constantly. Probably going to be the thawing of the tsundere dynamic between these two since he really does acknowledge Kunon's magical talent while detesting his personalkty.
This was probably my favorite episode yet, since all the comedy worked and the cast chemistry is now at a level where just them interacting is enough to sustain an episode. This is a far sillier series than I thought it would be going in, but I think I know what kind it is now and I will likely watch to the end of the season.
Makes it pretty clear that his magic sense sight gives him a good general picture, but can't handle the fine details that sighted folk take for granted.
I love the faces they gave Iko. They were hilarious
So, maybe a light meat, and then how "light and refreshing" are paired together so often when it comes to food.
So, that'd make refreshing mean that it's not a heavy meal and leaves your hunger satisfied, leaving you feeling refreshed.
Or, he's using his normal, shallow way of talking that doesn't really mean anything at all and the reason he confuses people is because it's only his small talk that's shallow while the stuff he truly cares about, like Mirika, gets talked about in the same flowery way, but with obviously well thought out and meaningful prattle rather than the nonsense he normally spouts.
it is definitely a keeper.
Kunon finally learned a new spell! I almost didn't believe it when he used it to help with the washing, but it was explicitly confirmed by the end.
Need a looping gif of Raysha bouncing.
With the premise of an OP blind sorcerer trying to cure his blindness, ending up with another comedy fantasy feels disappointing.
Then again, maybe "Hero Without a Class" from last year just made me numb to this type of plot.
