>Trust me the hair flip at the end adds a lot to the scene with the Quartet changing.

The Nasuverse runs on aura farming, and I wouldn't have it any other way

I have to admit, I've always been interested in Fateverse nun- I mean Holy Church ever since Hollow Ataraxia back in 2006 when I had first seen [Karen](https://i.imgur.com/m8o0hJV.png).

Oh yeah, the girl who hates pants and skirts (which is a running joke in Prisma Illya).

It's not that she hates them; it's that she intentionally leaves them off to make her outfits more seductive (it helps with her role).

What is this anime about?

Battle Royale over a wish granting device, between secret society mages and their summoned heroes from myths, history and legends with the Holy Church acting as an overseer, this time set in America.
That's the most bare bones skeleton for Fate, it's part of an expansive universe featuring similar works, but this one can be watched as a standalone (though many would recommed watching Fate/Zero first, which is also a very good anime by Ufotable).

I feel that many characters in the Fate series resemble famous game characters from major companies like Square Enix. The blindfolded female character in Fate/strange looks a lot like [2B (NieR:Automata)](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/nier/images/3/38/YoRHa_No.2_Type_B.png), and Saber (Artoria) in Fate/stay night seems almost like a copy of [Agrias Oaks (Final Fantasy Tactics)](https://i.pinimg.com/736x/82/89/44/828944e5e9fe0164e34df203ed134069.jpg). Interestingly, both 2B and Agrias were designed by the same character designer, [Akihiko Yoshida](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akihiko_Yoshida).
