So I’m still not sure how to word this where it’ll make sense but here I go. I just recently watched this short ONA called “ a day before us “ and loved the whole concept of the MC attempting to get the attention of a love interest only for her to like someone else and not notice or ignore the MC until he decides to give up and move on only for her to realize she made a mistake and end up wanting him back. The only 2 examples I have to something similar is “ the dreaming boy is a realist “ where he gives up on pursuing the girl he likes only for her to realize she actually does like him. And “ High school of the dead “ where the MC gets cheated on by his ex but she ends up regretting it and falling for him. I know that’s not the main premise of that show but I did enjoy that and especially once saeko enters the picture .

I’d love to know if there are any shows similar to these 3 where the love interest either ignores or doesn’t notice the MCs attempts at getting her attention /pursuit for a relationship and for the MC to either move on give up and her to only realize she messed up either because a new girl enters the picture or the MC starts giving her the cold shoulder but ultimately takes her back eventually. I’m looking for more shows that show the love interest show regret / remorse . My apologies for this being all over the place .
