Best animes of the past 7 years
Hey Everyone!
I was an avid watcher of anime in my youth, up to early 20s, however life changed and I have not had the opportunity to watch as much anime (or none at all) in the past 7 years. Life is now treating me a little better, I have found my way back to anime once again, watch time is much more limited, this way I would like to ask for your recommendations for the best anime series in your opinion of the last 5-7 years.
Before my long hiatus I have watched anime like:
\-DB, Bleach, Naruto, One Piece
\-Lots of sport anime, like Eyeshield 21, Haikyuu, Ace of Diamond, Hajime no Ippo,
\- Some fighing animes, like Baki,
\-Lots of humorous shonen, like Gintama, SKET Dance etc., but JoJo and other such series were in the top as well.
\-Lots of romantic, comedic Shojo as well, not really able to list these since my previous anime list was lost sadly.
In the last year I have found my way back to anime, and I have already caught up on some of my planned ones:
\- Kengan Ashura,
\- JoJo,
\- Newer Baki series,
\- Jujutsu Kaizen,
\- Solo Leveling (which is not straight an anime, if i got that right),
\- Currently catching up on Demon Slayer, really enjoying this too.
I have some anime in my backlog, but starting to run short on these, it would be nice to see your opinion for the bigger/better ones in the last 5-7 years according to my previous history.
What would you say the best anime in this period was for you and why? :)

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

2. Bocchi the Rock
3. Ranking of Kings
4. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
5. Losing heroines
6. 86
7. Apothecary Diaries
8. Vinland Saga
* Wonder Egg Priority
* 86
* Vinland Saga
* Insomniacs After School
* Frieren
Honorable mentions go to
* High Score Girl
* Jobless Incarnation
* Apothocary Diaries
If you like romcoms/comedy, then maybe High Score Girl, Kaguya-sama, Spy x Family might fit? They're okay...
If you don't mind Chinese and a little bit of homosexuality (not the main focus), then I'd recommend
* Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation

- Aishang Ta de Liyou (2023)
- Chihayafuru 3 (2019, counting sequels)
To Your Eternity
Mushoku Tensei (Jobless Reincarnation)
Akudama Drive
Golden Kamuy

Dr. Stone
Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy
My Dress Up Darling
Dan Da Dan
TO BE HERO X
Chainsaw Man
Shangri-la Frontier
Kaiju no.8
Mashlee: Magic and Muscles
Honestly there's so many good titles and a lot are only 1-2 seasons so it's not a huge longterm commitment to get into a bunch. I think the longest thing i watched this year was binging the Monogatari Series in one sitting. And that was like a full day.
VINLAND SAGA
JUJUTSU KAISEN
Demon Slayer
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
Ranking of Kings
PLUTO
86 EIGHTY-SIX
Orb: On the Movements of the Earth

Delicious in Dungeon
But for me if i like a cozy anime where there is great camaraderie and character interactions with one another, uma musume is my choice
If i want fanservice and funny stuff but also has hint of emotionality and seriousness its fairy tail
If i want some fighting anime, id go ubw, fate zero, demon slayer
If i want a good out of the ordinary world building, id go made in abyss, psycho pass
If i want some music anime id get kong ming, zombieland saga, love life
