My friend had recommended me to watch Vinland Saga around when the manga had ended. I had watched about 10 episodes but dropped it for some reason. I wanted to get some reviews before continuing it.

My personal experience is that I drop shows for a reason. Whenever I've gone back and tried to watch a show I dropped I've just dropped it again.

Yes. It’s a historical, character focused anime with psychological depth.. More about themes and growth than pure action and it really sticks with you if you like mature stories [One of the best in my opinion]

Well considering it's in the top 10 best manga of all time it has to be good right. And something that made me like it more is that many characters and things that happens in the series are based on real events/people. The main quest of thorfinn was real, but with the author filling the blanks. (Also incase you didnt know vinland = north america, which i somehow missed the first time i watched ep 1)

True, i just meant that it being in the top 10 it means atleast it has quality and its not shitty. But yeah i would not recommend reading about the history that has to do with vinland saga. Readers of the manga could spoil themself if the mc would succeed or fail even before the manga ended.
