slice of life anime recs???
hey guys!!!
i've gotten a bit into anime lately because of my brother, and i guess i'm just trying to get into the groove of things???
so far we've watched:
bluelock (this one was pretty interesting, though i'm not a football fan so i wouldn't have chosen to watch it myself)
jujutsu kaisen (AMAZING, i know this is your pretty standard cliche new-fan commentary but i genuinely love jjk so much)
solo-levelling (this one was also very interesting, not enough for me to hyperfixate on it and i do think the jjk characters are more interesting, but i still liked a lot of the characterisation and the story was defos easier to follow LOL. also s2 left on a good note, excited to see what happens next)
however, i was kind of wanting my next anime to be more... chill? i've always been a romcom sitcom slice of life girlie so i guess i just wanted to know how that sort of genre translates into the anime world.
for example, i love jjk, but if there was an anime that was like \*s1\* jjk all throughout i feel like that would be so fun. cause it was lighthearted and funny but at the same time had some ominous exposition, yk???
hoping this makes sense! i basically feel like the one thing i've felt a lack of is romantic interactions, since that's usually right up my alley (ig makes sense for the genres i've been watching, but also why not have the best of both worlds).
thanks for any thoughts!
p.s. not sure if this is of any importance but in terms of manga, i've read about 1/3 of the jjk volumes and not really anything else.

In my country, for romance, Netflix has Kimi ni todoke and The fragrant flower blooms with dignity (i wss waiting for Netflix to have all episodes, to watch it).
>K-On and Lucky Star, but I'll throw them out there as suggestions anyway.
I thought these were comedies?
I've never watched these.
I have k-on on my plan to watch list.
>lso really liked Carole and Tuesday.
.
I've heard about this one. Does it have drama or adventure? I know music is a theme.
There's also, {boku no kokoro wa yabai yatsu}, probably the most heartwarming anime you'll ever watch.
for the romance-comedy part, I'd recommend {too many losing Heroines}, I picked it up when it was going to broadcast, just because I like the poster and story seemed interesting... it was GREAT.
and if you want pure slice-of-life, I would recommend {Barakamon}. one the best in the genre.
>but if there was an anime that was like \*s1\* jjk all throughout i feel like that would be so fun.
for this ☝️ I would recommend {Sousou no Frieren}!! probably the best in this list!
