Some people really dislike it because the MC is kinda weird.

The soundtrack is good, but it kind of feels like the anime had multiple ideas and didn't really follow any of them

Worth watching for the OST and visuals.
Plot peaks early and then falls apart.
Not a masterpiece, not a waste of time either.

It’s a show me and my partner watched half of and dropped it, it never stuck in my mind since I don’t remember a thing about it.

Even if the plot may be hit ir miss, the visuals voices and soundtrack are top tier and the fights are pretty sweet to watch, id say definitely go for it

The animation is wild. But the storyline is not something that will make me watch that anime again. 

Sure! Yeah, the mc is kind of Shinji-style, but the story, the music, and the visuals are definitely worth it. I still listen to its OST.

For me it was a 8/10 show except for the last episode which was complete garbage.

The OST is amazing 10/10 though!

It’s decent, but the real gem is Egoist (vocalist behind most of the OST). One of the few times a vocalist steals the show. Pretty sure she was 15 at the time?

At some point in my life, I really wanted to watch Guilty Crown. I thought I would really love it. I watched it and it was great at the start. And then, the show gets worse and worse. It culminated at a point where the MC was so terrible and unlikable that it made the show so unwatchable that I had to watch it in 1-2 minute intervals before taking I needed a break (I mentioned this to a friend of mine and he told me he had to do the same and it took him weeks to get through the show). Because of how much hype I had for the show at the time, I seriously considered just stopping watching anime as a medium. So, no, I would strongly recommend you don't watch it.

The music is great. Both openings are stellar and the soundtrack is incredible though.

It's visually good anime but i didn't like the story

I think that even if you ignore the complete trainwreck of the second half it's still a mediocre anime at best.

The visuals and the music are its only redeeming qualities, not sure if that's enough for you, but to me, I feel like I wouldn't have lost anything if I didn't watch it.

It is a massive trainwreck. You don't watch it to see high brow well written entertainment, but the disastrously bad at times writing is so laughable you wonder if they did it on purpose. You will get some fun laughs out of it if you watch it for the lolz.

I remember the songs and soundtracks.

As someone who owns the show on bluray, no because the anime ends on a cliffhanger that eats at me years later.

I dropped it at episode 3 because the writing did not hook me at all. The show keeps cutting serious moments with fan service, and that killed the mood for me.
