Vinland Saga & Attack on Titan Mix

I’ve watched a lot of anime and I’ve just finished Vinland Saga recently, I’ve noticed alot of similarities between VS and AOT, their story, art style and themes, I like how realistic they act and look, is there any more anime like these two?

If you liked the grounded tone and moral weight of both you might enjoy Golden Kamuy it’s brutal but very human in how characters act and grow. Monster is another good pick if you want realism and heavy themes without relying on spectacle. Both feel more mature and character driven in a similar way.

Golden Kamuy is insane amazing recommendation, I love the Manga, is up there with the best entertainment ever. Hopefully the anime is as good or even better! :)

S1-2 aren't quite there in terms of production and pacing, but Brains Base improved things a lot when they took over in S3.

Have you read the Manga and watch the Anime? if so would you recommend for me to watch the Anime when I have read the Manga like 5 times already. Or just read the manga for the 6th time.

I still love it, such an amazing story and characters.

Local_Pickle_47172026-01-27 16:32

I've read the manga. I think it's worth watching the anime because some of the comedy really lends itself well to being voiced and GK is always just such a fine ride. Just brace yourself for CG bears.

Aight thanks man, I will brace for Golden Kamuy Cinema. I will give it a shot.

Local_Pickle_47172026-01-27 16:52

Well, if you want cinema there's always the live action haha

did you find it takes you a minute to get into vinland saga ? i watched 2 episodes and i wasnt super into it.. i mean i didnt hate it

matches9912026-01-27 16:15

You should get back to it, it's very good

PuzzleheadedBeat7972026-01-27 14:57

Code Geass
Controversial opinion I think code Geass is better than AOT not in terms of animation and fight sequences but in story wise. It's peak . Believe me . Don't say anything if you haven't watched it.

matches9912026-01-27 16:19

I think you might enjoy saga of Tanya the evil.
