It's allegedly about a tennis club. In that they occasionally hold a racket between all the nonsense that happens.
A billion eps but you'll finish it in an hour (2 min eps)
Teekyu gets a lot done in 2 minutes, made possible by talkingreallyfastoverthetopofoneanother, ignoring physics and continuity, and of course, Michael (Who the hell's Michael?).
Yuri is a first year high school girl who decided to join the tennis club - and that's about as far as the plot goes. Yuri is a Tsukkomi, the rest of the universe is Boke. She deals with seniors and others who can barely recognise a tennis racket, who plow up the court, who buy bakeries, who live with aliens, who get arrested for eating panties, who work at a ramen bowling alley, who are doing it for Michael (seriously who the hell is Michael!?), who use their grandmothers hair in their rackets, who visit Cambodia for no reason.
A random episode synopsis from Crunchyroll: "For some reason, Kanae receives aquarium tickets from a man riding an elephant"
"Bro what is dandadan about? Is it terror? Comedy? Action? Music?"

Literally every time I've introduced someone to that show they've said something like "What am I even watching?!"
"Korewa Zombie Desuka" (Is This a Zombie?). It is SO good, SO funny and SO weird. Male zombie protag, who is also a magical girl(!) and whose main weapon is a chainsaw. We also have a silent necromancer, an actual magical girl who has lost her powers, and several competing vampire ninjas.
"Hidamari Sketch" is light and funny, which is jarring to anyone who saw "Madoka Magica" first (same character designer, Aoki Ume).
"Seto no Hanayome" (My Bride Is a Mermaid) is pure delight from beginning to end. I still watch this regularly, it never gets old. It parodies basically every anime trope at one point or another.
"Ninin-ga Shinobuden" (Ninja Nonsense: The Legend of Shinobu) is absolutely batshit insane. It's pure slapstick, and moves so fast you'll likely have to watch each ep several times to catch everything. Also has Norio Wakamoto. You'll recognize his voice, probably.
"Joshiraku" is worth a recommendation, but be prepared to dive onto the TV Tropes page to catch all the references. It's just five girls -- all Rakugo performers -- cracking jokes about stuff, and most of it takes place in one room. One of the catchiest EDs ever, it became meme fodder on its own.
"Carnival Phantasm" deserves a place here, but you need a basis in Nasuverse lore (the "Fate/stay night" and "Tsukihime" anime/game world) to get the most out of it. Worth it, though.

Plastic Nee-san (another short anime, 3 girls in a model building club. You’ve probably seen the clips of a girl slamming her friends head through a wall or the baseball player stripping and gyrating towards some delinquents. It’s wacky fun)
