My Thoughts on Let This Grieving Soul Retire Part 2
I might have said this in the past, but why does a show like this get a second season. Or I guess it's more accureate to say two cours since it's listed as part 1 and part 2, but either way there's so many other anime that deserve it that never did. My hopes got raised a little bit at the start because it began with Tino's past and like I said before Tino is my favorite character, I find her clumpsy yet optimistic perosnality to be endearing, but that part didn't even last a full episode. After that it returns to the status quo where every complaint I had in the first part is present here, not any worse but no improvements made either. Insanely generic character design for hte MC, boring MC, a collection of waifu that are almost as boring personality wise aside from Tino, attractive designs for the waifu that try to distract you from that, literally every other character being incredibly boring and uninteresting too, sub par animatoin at best, cartoonishly evil villains, and fights I don't care about. I don't even know why they bothered splitting up both parts considering that it's exaclty the same. Normally the modern practice of split cour anime is to increase, or keep up, the quality of the series, particularly in regards to visuals, but the first part was crap, and there was no improvements in the second half either, so it seemed kind of pointless to me.

You know you can drop shows you don’t like right? You know if you didn’t enjoy the first 12 episodes that the chances of you enjoying the next 12 episodes are slim to none… right?
Now I know this is hard to believe, but you having an opinion doesn’t mean everyone else shares your opinion. I seriously can’t imagine what kinda life you live that you’d subject yourself to watching 24 episodes of a show you don’t like all so you can immediately go online and complain about it as if everyone else shares your opinion.
Post a word salad "review" that reads worse than a 4th grader's writing, yet 4/5 times also reveals that he has completely missed the point of whatever he was watching. Then literally never engage with anyone.
I honestly cannot fathom what drives a person to do this, but he has been going at it for like a year.
