If you are okay with manga:


1. Tonari no Kurokawa-san


It is simple yet heartfelt. Both the main leads are excellent and genuinely have clear communication. Also, has some of the most hilarious facial expressions 


2. Momose Akira’s First Love is a Failure


Girl failure for the win. Also, another case for simple yet heartfelt story and characters having clear communication. Has some of the most hilarious side characters. 


3. Boku Dake ga Shitterun Daze


It is more mature and serious yet in a good way. There isn't any unnecessary drama. It is heartfelt with deep characters and toms of progress. 


Personally all three are at the top when it comes to romcom in manga/anime. I personally prefer them over other animes like "my dress up darling", "the dangers in my heart", etc. each chapter of all three is just peak after peak with genuinely excellent lead characters and tons of progress.
