That whole situation with “Shadow” was pretty entertaining. He had to put up with some bullshit but he got a nice free meal out of it.
>free meal
Looks like the bill was expensive! Gil did order a lot of alcohol.

Shadow's reaction to the bill was funny, but expected considering the alcohol Gil ordered lol
He had it from the start with Gil.

like, i think the best parts of this show is the chemistry that comes out of their one-on-one banter and the tangible things they do to demonstrate their bromance, while i think Bean Counter is more about penciling in two hours for medically-necessary cuddle time but otherwise they're kinda conflicted and not connecting emotionally

'See that man casually lifting a 300 lb man by the armpits? That man who you know is paid to protect me. You still wanna be argumentative about us being attacked?'
Was the intended messege imo.
Gil playing around with Judge was amusing especially when Lizel said "Don't toy with Judge". It's nice to see more of his personality come out now that he feels more comfortable to be himself.
I really like the way Lizel handle things, he has this innocent look but you know he's thinking and observing all sorts. The interactions in this series are really enjoyable to watch because we don't get to hear Lizel's thoughts much in the moment. Lizel and Gil leaving a heavy bill for Shadow was amusing.
I am really curious who he was in his previous world and how scary he'd be if he's serious.
I'm not mentally prepared if Lizel has to go back to his world, ending his vacation. At least take your harem with you
But yeah, Judge has serious golden retriever energy, what with him being tall, them big teary sad eyes and the bushy hair. No wonder Lizel's so soft on him lol.
A perfect threat from a noble. Direct enough, but 100% deniable.

I think Lizel probably would agree with you regarding any further interactions with Shadow, but free wine is free wine.
"what exactly do you think I am?" GAY
"Exactly what you look like..." GAY
haha.
I wish Gil had killed the attempted murderer, but can't have nice things like that in this show.
Why the big people so worried of making an enemy of MC? Do they realize he's the MC?
MC's people reading skills almost border on the supernatural, so he must be very aware that all his companions and acquaintances want his D, right?
It was correctly used here. "Upstart" in this case means *noveau riche*, as opposed to the actual nobility.
In fact, if you look at every major dictionary, it will give the default meaning of "nouveau riche" (one that has risen suddenly from low position to wealth or power). It is also for that reason that it is used for "upstart companies".
Judge: Golden retriever
Gil: Dobberman
Stud: I don't have a lot of dog knowledge, is there a tsundere dog?
Shadow seemed really rattled by Lisel. The other noble's message to him was a vague warning but he did see Lisel verbally disarm that man trying to kill him and was surprised he figured out who he was. That is strange though that that book about Marcade even had pictures; does this world have photography? I'm not sure if Shadow's grandfather's portrait was in the book or maybe that noble Lisel visited had him among his paintings.
I didn't really get why those 2 knights were harshly interrogating Judge. That criminal was apprehended by other knights and if Judge is supposed to be one of the most important and prominent people in that community, you'd think they'd take a lighter touch with him. I also didn't get why the dark haired knight called Lisel a dick and hated him and Blade.
That's why the one calm guard was so scared. (Also because Lisel and Gil casually threatened them to back off).
I think the guard hated Gil because he felt the adventurer finally sold out and became a lap dog to a noble instead of the defiant adventurer who refused to work for nobles. (No one is willing to believe Lisel when he says he is a commoner.) If that guard told Shadow he wouldnt do something he would be fired(at best). He also knows that he would have trouble finding another job. (If jobs were available I doubt the noble would be getting attacked in broad daylight by unemployed shopkeepers). The guard knows this and he hates it, and then the one ray of hope that things could be different was gone. (There's lots of assumptions on my part, maybe)
Gil: don't you lay a finger on [someone I like]
Yup, feels gay alright.
And Lisel/Gil just dined and dashed with that new dude, right? lol
**Dropped it…**
