Utage winning all these boys over, wonder who she'll interact with next. I swear she's going to become their manager at this rate
Even with her Tamon bias she would probably be much more supportive than the current lady who looks like she stepped out of an anime villain lineup.
“I wonder if this is what it’d be like if Cleopatra reincarnated as a hot guy” sounds like the premise to a great isekai lol.
Damn shame Tamon didn’t get to be center but at least he’s still got Utage. She really actually is his No. 1 fan. Girl’s out there spreading the Gospel of Tamon on the daily!
*Transported to Another World as an Idol Ikemen After Being Mummified in a Sacred Tomb*
This episode is definitely more emotionally-charged than the rest. The difference in tone between the 1st and 2nd half doesn't help things too😂.
It looks like we're going to see the love triangle intensify and what better way to do it than have the mandatory sick episode be given to the 2nd ML. Cracked up with Tamon's gift though. We know (g)Ouri likes sweets but not that kind of sweet😭.
Ngl I would also ascend to the heavens like Utage too with Gloomyhara's kindness.
Now onto the 2nd half and center selection definitely went the way I expected when they showed a tired Tamon and Ouri before the final round. I do hope they learned their lesson after this though.
On the other hand, we finally got the other F/ACE members! And goddamn, the face cards in this group is amazing. No wonder they're IT in-universe.
Finally we have RAIN! I still can't believe the amount of great original songs we're getting from this anime. As a sucker for angsty ballads, this is probably right my alley and will be definitely added to my playlist. And yes, I cried with both Utage and Tamon too😭
I rate this episode 10🍄 out of 10 simply because I'm biased and Tamon have never looked so beautiful😭.
Yep.
Lol.
Oh damn he's sick.
He's visiting?
Bruh he bought pure sugar...
And now he's helping out clean too lol.
He seems to be doing well.
Ok...
I suspect she's going to shoot him down immediately.
Or not.
And now he's sleeping on her back.
Uh oh, they killed their voices practicing.
And that's why right before a major performance you're supposed to do _vocal rest_ and _not_ strain your voice. And avoid eating or doing anything that might damage your voice.
You don't say he's in a bad state...
And so it's the crucial moment, waiting backstage for their cue to go on stage and perform.
Ooh we actually get to hear the new song as the ED.
Lmao it was _neither_ of them... I suppose that's what they get for fucking up their voices just before that last round.
Chiba being lil brat is 😮💨 I would not say no to Tamon having a stage at a festa, so I can watch and listen to Chiba being bratty live (and a live concert would be kii).
**Dafuq?**
Not cat butthole in my Wednesday church service 😭
Gods Chiba being so bratty is making the gospel choir go wild over here.
Utage noooooo 🕊️🌈🪦
Of course I ship Utage and Tamon, but Tamon/Ouri fanfiction and fan art still holds me hostage. Lil shit Tsundere x Eyebaggy Yandere and theys both babygirls is 😮💨 I need to find me some BL/MM with this dynamic.
Mushrooms 🍄
Bijin spotting.
>気持
Chiba’s so mean 😭
God, the ***vocals!***
Oh Tamon 🥹 🤧
***
Tamon will always be my center 🫶🏾🫰🏾💕
Can’t wait for a stage play and/or J-drama announcement. There is no such things, but if I say it, it may happen. Ima get excited to see a F/ACE cosplay group, hopefully, at a con.
Once Rain comes out, time to add it to my “When you need to cry” playlist. Tamon really did his best. But he has Utage (and all his girlfriends) to support him. That’ll never stop.
Church today made me cry, thank you for the sermon 🤧
Ouri might technically be a gorilla, but the pissy housecat works so well for him.
The lost is a welcome development for Tamon. Surely this will help him conquer more girlfriends.
He can build up for a comeback! Or realize the only "girlfriend" he needs is Utage, whether she's willing to accept that or not!
She's starting to get some flashes here and there where she realizes that Tamon is a real person though
Girl is stuck so deep in her fandom that even the mere thought of Tamon having a single girlfriend, even if its her, is an affront to all of humanity
Thats one hell of a way to begin this episode, especially with how it ended.
But their whole relationship resolution got me worried from the beginning, like there is basically no win win situation for them both getting together.
As long as he is an Idol they can't date, she probably won't.
But him quitting is also a bad end in its own way
I can't believe Tamon cried on stage too, it was a beautiful moment honestly. I almost choked up myself.
He will always be the center of our hearts!!!
Anyways... voice wise, my favorite one is actually Keito. But nobody beats Tamon's stage presence
It'll be interesting to see how F/ACE adjusts because I think it's going to feel like a very different group without Tamon front-and-center.
But yeah I am actually kind invested and neither of them winning is outrageous
Ouri getting the nursing event before Tamon is an interesting twist. I am glad things are working out with Ouri, his relationship with Utage is finally not so hostile and Tamon has finally understood what he needs to do in order to repair his relationship with Ouri. Their activities together will probably appear more natural on camera if they're on the same page. That water hose moment is definitely a story they can share.
Utage internally denying any sense of reality when Tamon back hugs her was so funny, she will not allow any delusions that cross boundaries.
One thing I want to point that I keep forgeting to is the details with Tamon's anxiety. I really like the close up details of him fidgeting or rocking back and forth, it really sells how anxious he feels and I appreciate it each episode.

My guess is Ouri's issues are more parent-based than manager-based though...
As for the episode itself, this is definitely the least funny ep yet and more so a bit sad with tamon losing his center spot but also sweet with tamon hugging utage from the back. as for the Ori scenes, it's kinda cute, we can see him slowly liking utage with her taking care of him, I mean who doesn't fall inlove with their kind caretaker when you're sick?
Utage is Best Girl and Best Fan. Any idol would be lucky to have her and/or fall in love with her.
Hayamin, Utage’s VA, is more than capable of delivering a banger song herself too.
But it has surprisingly the funniest joke so far with the bag of sugar. That had me rofl so hard!
Not that Ouri cares about her doing housekeeping, he only wants to confirm Utage isn't romantically involved with Tamon...and why would she need to be? Every girl in the entire world will soon be Tamon's girlfriend! No single girl can monopolize him to themselves!
But Ouri should feel lucky that Utage is there to tend to him when he's having a sick episode...he's not even Tamon! And she cleans the house to boot! She's too good for him, especially when he still lashes out at her (and Tamon).
Nothing like Gloomiehara being Gloomiehara to make a girl give up on any romantic thoughts.
Ouri is so obsessed with one-upping Tamon that he tries to mess with him by texting him pics of Utage at his place...but Tamon is genuinely just concerned if Ouri is doing okay. He wants Utage to take care of him, Tamon even shows up himself. Tamon is a really good guy, even cleaning Ouri's pool for him!
But it turns out Tamon used to be Ouri's "minion" when he first made it, and Ouri kind of mentored him through the industry...until Tamon became the Center, Ouri was crushed, and it's been this divide between them ever since. Even though Tamon now can understand the pride that Ouri felt, which is why he can't lose to him in this battle for the Center of F/ACE.
Two hot male idols playing with each other in the pool...they made Utage ascend to Heaven. RIP!
Ugh, Tamon just HAD to come out and overhear Utage wishing Ouri to do his best, not knowing that she was only doing it with him in mind...though I'm not surprised Ouri wants her to be HIS "fan," though please tell me Tamon overheard Utage trying to sell Ouri on the church of Tamon.
The battler for Center heats up and Utage and her gal pals even do a tiktok video of Tamon's dancing! I wish we could've seen it.
This job has its perks: like getting to watch Tamon's sleeping face and wax lyrical about how hot he is...and have his face pressed against your back when he embraces you. Even though Imaginary Granny knows that would totally NEVER happen.
It just had to be the last day when Tamon and Ouri both have to perform at less than 2,000% because they tried too hard...they do their best not to show it, but Utage can tell that something is off with Tamon. And their producer is even more harsh towards them.
And the Center issssss.....Keito! Congratulations Keito fans! Though how on-point for them to sing a heartbreak song to soothe the other heartbroken fans and themselves, especially Tamon. But at least he'll always be the Center in Utage's heart! Is it any wonder Tamon's straight up crying?
I remember watching some kpop variety where they do all sorts of challenge and then the final challenge ends up being worth the same as all the previous points added up together, just to add some more spice
I want to give a big round of applause for Hayamin’s voice acting in today’s episode. She really put her heart into Utage’s crazy fan-talk. I particularly liked how she emphasised certain words, like when Utage couldn’t believe that Tamon had rested on her back.
Not a bad result tbh. Uta doesn't need to become Ouri's fan or housekeeper and Ouri doesn't feel even more resentful about Tamon beating him yet again.
So Ouri has definitely caught feelings for Uta. And Tamon seems to be apprehensive about losing her to Ouri. Uta, however, can't even imagine Tamon settling for one girl. That outburst of hers at the beginning was so funny. Especially when contrasted with Ouri's reaction.
I'm starting to like the gorilla. He's a spoiled brat, yes, but he must also be under a lot of pressure to meet the expectations that come from having two highly successful parents like his. I really felt for him when he broke down after losing to Tamon. And it seems like Tamon did as well. Interesting equation they had going already, but more so now with Uta in the mix and both of them crushing on her. Can't wait to see where this leads.
Yeah, he even mentions to Tamon that he *always* chokes right at the very end when it matters. He's used to it by now. That's a sign that you're under way too much pressure to succeed
It's okay, Utage would never be disappointed in you!
I appreciate how they toned back the silly a bit for one episode to let other emotions play out. I'm sure we'll get a ton of laughs in the weeks ahead, but playing it straight here creates a nice base to build off of for the rest of the season. Especially seeing Tamon react to Uta's sign saying he would always be the center in her heart. Even though she's a true stan and believes no one person can be Tamon's girlfriend, in her heart she's fallen for him that way so hard, she just cannot admit it yet. Seeing her figure it out should be a fun journey. And it is nice to see a romcom that plays with the whole dense thing but doing it in a way that is believable instead of 'just because'
Though I probably need to watch this one again because I watched Shiboyugi first and processing that had me a little distracted.
"~~I am only doing this for the magic~~ **I am not worthy of the attention this god is giving me, he must have taken a liking to my inferior cleaning service**"
Too bad they didn't show Tamon and Ouri attempting to sing with raspy voices.
Utage might not realize it, but she's definitely in love with Tamon.
Tamon is the Center in my heart …..😭💔
[Another Utage death. Girl is immortal](https://ibb.co/zHWbXjC3)
I really appreciate the songs that the anime's been giving us!
Idol Tuesday! It's the final battle between Tamon and Ouri. I kind of knew where this was going as soon as Ouri also showed up with a wrecked throat. There was no way storywise (at least at this point in the season) that Tamon would switch her fan idolization, nor was there a way that Ouri was suddenly going to be buddies with Tamon. I loved the response of each sides fanbase to the issue though. Ouri's are all "WHY" while Tamon's are just in pure heartbroken shock.
I like that the image of Tamon and Ouri have a water hose fight just straight out killed Utage. RIP. Speaking of that...I wonder what her friends would think if they knew the thing Utage has experienced.
Utage meanwhile is still keeping that fan/idol divide alive, but you do see some cracks in that wall. Notably she was the only one who could kind of objectively see that Tamon's performance wasn't too hot, versus her friends who are still 100% drinking the kool-aid.
Compared to him even his own show is but a small dirty spot
So curious about the other F/ACE members now, hope they show us Keito next! Apart from Tamon, he intrigued me the most (his vibe reminded me of Tachibana Makoto from Free but maybe just me lol).
Their relationship is very endearing. Though at some point you have to question how Uta will view Tamon because at some point she can't just consider herself just a fan without trouncing on Tamon's feelings.
Funny how we got a love triangle like we see in most shoujo series. But like, it's barely there. The sinking feeling Uta feels is only for Tamon and how it differs from how her fans view Tamon, who only know him as their idol. With Ouri, Uta doesn't have that feeling; hell, she probably only cares for him because he is in the same group as Tamon. Though one thing that is nice to see is that Uta takes great pride in her job.
I think Ouri is starting to grow on me. Praise unto multifaceted characterization. I wonder if we're going to be discovering Keito's b-side next? In the OP his turns around to be a Maneki Neko, and I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean. Luck? Just a lucky guy? It doesn't really feel right though, can't wait for next week
Poor Tamon-kun crying while singing damn...well at least Ouri didn't win. Tamon will always be the center in her and our hearts. He'll probably win back the center later. Actually is the new center until the next competition, whatever or just for this song?
Don't be so hard on yourself Kinoshita-san. [If Tamon-kun is 8K, then surely you're at least 4K](https://imgur.com/sdhWcMk)!
also p.s i was truly taken away by Keito's singing. My god...
While she's always been really funny in all her jokes and retorts, I think this is one of the ones that shows off her emotional intelligence as well, and why she could be a great AND funny character instead of just a funny character.
Not just that, but after the singing contest, Utage chided herself for entertaining the possibility that Tamon might not win even though she realized something was off. She didn't want to allow *anything* to shake her faith in her oshi's success. But this banner shows that she eventually chose to accept Tamon's human side a little, and prioritize being there for Gloomyhara in case he lost.
Now that I think about it, I guess it's also a bit of a rejection of Ouri's request. She brought that banner to fly, even if Ouri won.
The leader Keito became the new center.
I love how Tamon just bought white sugar since he doesn't know what sweets Ouri/Ori likes.
Neko(u)ri is so cute.
I love how Izumi may be strict but she also cares for F/ACE when she told Tamon & Ouri/Ori that practicing too much & overwork are both signs of failure.
It's funny how Ouri/Ori's empty pool suddenly has Utage's grave on it
Good thing Ouri/Ori called Utage despite only calling her to question her relationship w/ Tamon, it also helped him nurse him back to health when he got sick.
How is it that a song from an anime, which is not even the opening/ending, made me tear up and repeat the scene over and over and over again?
