Does he pretend every show is good like Mothers basement?

kind of the opposite if anything.

I'd prefer that to MB acting like there are 30 banger shows every season.

I think he keeps it pretty real. Him and Gigguk are the only anitubers I've stuck with.

I don't think Geoff pretends every show is good, which is why his "Worst in Season" videos exists in the first place

Damn this dude still makes videos? It’s had to have been like 8-10 years since I’ve watched a video of his

Oldest video I can find on his channel is 15 years old, but I want to say he predates that. I’ve been watching his videos for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been watching anime on and off for 20 years or so

I do miss when he watched three episodes instead of just one. He always spends a lot of time speculating about what a show *could* be, a lot of wild guessing, when the answers to most of his questions are right there in the second or third episode.
Last season, his video was like ten minutes of how he thinks *Gnosia* might *potentially* suck because of all the directions it *could* go but if he'd waited to watch even the first two minutes of the next episode he wouldn't have had to speculate.
This season, he does the same for *Roll Over And Die* and speculates "it could go one of three ways: generic, generic, or [literally the full title of the story] but I doubt it'll be that last one." The first episode ends pointing in that direction, the second episode continues in that direction, and "I hope it does something unique or interesting" is what you get in the third episode. (But at least he didn't just dismiss it outright as "one of those fuckin' things" instead of watching it.)
I guess that's just the nature of the take machine. I used to like these videos because they'd point out any good anime I might overwise overlook, especially when the review followed the "three episode rule" so there was a better understanding of what the anime even *is*. But nowadays, being just speculation and snap judgement, I find these videos pretty useless.

I just appreciate that he actually watches an episode of the shows, unlike some other YouTubers who use similar titles, but only actually just watch the trailers, and not even all of them.
