personally I would start with cowboy bebop again

Iris_sky202026-01-29 03:51

Contemplating on starting over, I left off a little after Edward was introduced in the series. It's been so long so I think I need my memory jogged.

Best_Surround_39802026-01-29 04:13

for me it’s comfort zone I’ll probably rewatch forever

Iris_sky202026-01-29 06:16

I really like the Jazz soundtrack they stick to, it's different from most animes I've seen

Illustrious_Arm_7322026-01-29 04:06

Great list I would start with all the movies first all damn good and you can check them out of the list easily

Iris_sky202026-01-29 04:13

I was on a Studio Ghibli kick for awhile, but I enjoyed Howl's Moving Castle so much that I would end up watching it all the time 😭but thanks for the idea! I'll start with movies!

Illustrious_Arm_7322026-01-29 04:19

No problem! Howl’s moving castle is my total favorite one of all, I love it all the music the landscapes the aesthetics and the concept too! I have the dvd and also 6 of different dimension of calcifers and a figure of them at the end and a howl keychain ❤️😍

Iris_sky202026-01-29 04:21

Damn😭I got like 0 merch for Howl's Moving Castle besides his earrings that just sit on top of my dresser.

Illustrious_Arm_7322026-01-29 12:38

No worries you have all the time! If you want an advice for all my collection of figures I use Vinted and I buy everything from there now

Iris_sky202026-01-29 15:12

Not much of a figurine person, but I do like other merch like posters, tapestries, t-shirts, plushies, Keychains etc.

Illustrious_Arm_7322026-01-29 16:46

Oh gosh good for you! It's a drug and I'm in love, my room is totally full and I don't know where to put them anymore ahahah I'm a collector sooo

The_Abyss_Of_Thought2026-01-29 04:29

if you want a great and easy watch, Solo Leveling. A satisfying sit that requires little to no brain power. Apothecary Diaries for the enjoyable plot, with a dash of romance. Frieren for the thought provoking plot and coziness.

Iris_sky202026-01-29 06:05

My boyfriend has been trying to get me to watch Frieren😭i feel bad because I heard so many good things about it but it couldn't hook me on the first episode. I'll get it a try tho. For Solo leveling i heard it's better to read the Webtoon apparently. Apothecary Diaries looks so cute, recently bought some merch for my friend's birthday. Definitely will get into it

The_Abyss_Of_Thought2026-01-29 06:14

Nice! yeah Frieren is a bit of a slow burn. The Solo Leveling webtoon is great, there’s also a sequel of you end up liking it, although i’m not sure if that’s on webtoon as well. However, the animation of the anime is some of the best i’ve ever seen. Good luck!

Glad-Magazine-69532026-01-29 05:27

The Promised Never Land- is S2 worth watching? Ill let you know rn they rushed the fuck out of the end and skipped a ton of stuff. Pissed me off
I would honestly suggest all the movies first but if not
Kiki's delivery service, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Frieren, Solo leveling, Cowboy Bebop, Gachiakuta
Just stuff I think are good to watch

Iris_sky202026-01-29 06:10

Damn I was so locked in on S1😭would reading the manga be any better?
I've heard good things about Cyberpunk:Edgerunners. However, I am not ready for the emotional damage that comes with it😭I'm definitely moving it up my watch list tho.

Glad-Magazine-69532026-01-29 06:33

Manga is wonderful and well fleshed out I highly recommend. If you like cyberpunk and understand all the terms easily so you don't get confused (ik people who weren't cyberpunk fans and were hella confused) yeah its devastating Night City has no happy endings but man is it a wonderful anime

DarthJarJar1592026-01-29 06:40

Lol just gonna jump in here and i absolutely do recommend the manga for the promised neverland! You can jump in right where S1 ended.

Iris_sky202026-01-29 06:49

I dropped it in like 2021- imma start from the beginning 😭🙏I just vaguely remember the blonde girl getting eaten

DarthJarJar1592026-01-29 05:54

Delicious in Dungeon and Spy Family are cutesy and relaxing, while still having the right amount of action in them and everyyoneee loves them.

Iris_sky202026-01-29 06:14

I've watched a few episodes of Delicious in Dungeon with my boyfriend. At first I didn't like it, but it's actually super cutesy and the animation is soft on the eyes. I think it's something I'd watch on a slow weekend. It has enough action to give me that Shonen/action element I like.

DarthJarJar1592026-01-29 06:38

For sure! I just noticed My Dressup Darling on your list as well, to me it is also one of my favorite feel good animes that i might put next to delicious in Dungeon (its kind of fan service heavy, but im just completely neutral with that so its fine for me)

Your list overall has me very hyped for you! Banana Fish, Fruits Basket and Steins Gate are going to absolutely destroy you though lol all worth it!

Iris_sky202026-01-29 06:53

I'd see My Dress up Darling everywhere online, but I didn't get the name till I looked it up! I think i might make it a priority to watch that one over some others. I've seen the edits to Banana Fish 🥲trust me I know what I signed up for. I have no idea what the plot is for Fruits Basket and Steins Gate, so I'm going in blind on those!

g---e2026-01-29 07:33

finish naruto

Iris_sky202026-01-29 12:21

Okay so Naruto was the anime that got me into watching more when I was younger like 7 years ago. I was adamant on completing it however at the time I had no streaming services that had Naruto Shippuden, so I was forced to drop it. Eventually, I ran into so many spoilers. I know major plot details and how it ends then transitions into Boruto.

g---e2026-01-29 16:35

Ok then watch the major fights, u gots to

Iris_sky202026-01-29 17:01

I mighttttt😭

Slow-Management68502026-01-29 15:00

Food Wars - It has a wholesome ending after Season 4, so the end is in sight!

Iris_sky202026-01-29 15:10

I loved the art style so much when I first started watching it. It's definitely been one I've been wanting to finish

Alt22212026-01-29 19:19

finish all those and ill give you a cookie.

Iris_sky202026-01-29 19:59

I mean with time it's doable 😭but that list isn't getting finished anytime soon. I probs won't touch Dragon Ball or One Piece
