Looking for short anime recommendations
I know this might sound boring, but I really enjoy anime with a strong or overpowered main character. I haven’t watched anime for the past two years and recently started reading manga, but now I want to get back into anime.
I’m looking for recommendations that have only one or two seasons.
Some of my personal favorites are:
The Eminence in Shadow
Mushoku Tensei
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
Overlord
The Misfit of Demon King Academy
Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy
If you want, I can also give you a more casual version, a formal version, or a short Reddit-style post version.

Serial Experiments Lain
One short season, excellent anime, unbeatable protags, but it's about playing various kinds of games and not direct fights (for the most part) so it may not be up your alley. But it's good.
It's a unique show, and beloved among its fans, but not for everybody. The only other recommendation I would have is one you've already seen (Eminence) so I think I'm out of dumb but fun overpowered character series, outside of the glut of isekai stuff and, of course, One Punch Man.
If you have any more such recommendations will be happy to hear..
